After a long day sightseeing we were famished and tired and simply wanted some decent pasta for dinner. We took a risk and went here as it was nearby and still open. Should have read the reviews first. We asked to sit inside and our server asked if we were Americans. We said we were and next thing you know,... More

We went there by chance to get an appetizer before dinner. We ordered a bottle of white wine and two pizzas. Unfortunately the wine was bad and we complained about it. The boss denied replacing the bottle stating he was a wine expert and this wine is supposed to taste like this. After that it took them half an hour... More

We were tired and hungry and just needed something to eat. Many places were not yet open so we caved and came here against our better judgement. As other reviewers suggested the food was overpriced and definitely not delicious or authentic. The wait staff also tried to pawn extra bruscetta and bread on us for extra charge which we were... After being queuing and going around de Musei Vaticani, around 3 hours minimum, we were extra hungry!! We pass by different places asking for prices, since we were travelling on budget and we found 3 euros for a small sweet pastry!! what!? Then randomly a guy gave us a flyer of Da Giulianna, OMG! it was 10 euros the whole... More

We found this place whilst on our way to the Vatican, and was lured in my the leaflet of a 10.00 lunch. We were seated inside, which was comfortable and airy. The waiter chatted to us about where we were from and he seemed friendly enough. I went for the Pizza and my partner had the pasta. I thoroughly enjoyed... More

I'm very surprised that this restaurant is still open. We were charged €7 for a bruchetta without our knowledge as well as tips when it stated explicitly that tips and coverage was already included! What should have been a €23 lunch ended up €34!! We are still scratching our head how that happened. The servers were rude to the passersby... More

We had 3 course menu for 13€ and we thought we will pay that 13€ each... No way! Some extra brucetta and beer(?) cost us 62.70€! That included service charge, which we refused to pay, so in total we paid €58 for small portion of spaghetti crappy chicken breast and tiny tiramisu each, oh yeah and the most expensive peroni... The only Italian thing they have is the name of the restaurant! Prices are high for terrible food. The waiter was annoying and tried to make us order the most expensive dishes in the menu in insisting at least 5 times. Pasta was horrible and very small portion. We even thought that it was starter and we had an impression... More

This place is not Italian. Staff lures people in and then they use all kinds of tricks to make you pay extra. We waited good 30 minutes for a desert they have not planned to bring. Ended up paying for it. Wasted time and money!

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
