Not that bad

Came here after visiting the Vatican Museums, mainly attracted by the 10eur menu and then saw the terrible reviews! Although the food was nothing special it was correct. The service was far from excellent (although the restaurant was almost empty) but not rude. We can't complain. In the end, we got... read more

Their handout offers pizza, salad, dessert and a drink for 10 euro. There's a drawing of 'Giuliana' with some rubbish about the family history. BUT it's run by a bunch of chancers. They take the order then bring big beer and water bottles without pointing out these aren't part of the deal. As a result our expected 30 euro bill... More

This was the worst experience ever in a restaurant in Italy. Awful food, the waiters are rude and ignorant. The prices are unexplainable. But the best part is the 20% service charge hidden in the last page of the menu! DON'T GO THERE!

Dreadful menu- jumps from drinks to pizza to more drinks to puddings to main courses. Dreadful food- burnt bruschetta, ordered ravioli and recieved tortellini (didn't really matter as t was just supermarket crap anyway) Dreadful service- had to ask for the bill 4 times! It was reluctantly presented to us by a very moody waiter who was quite rude. Don't... More

We decide to go to this restaurant because they had a special menu deal that offered a set menu for only 10 euros. The flyer that they gave out specifically said "no service charge" but when we got our bill a service charge was added. I told the manager and showed him the flyer but he refused to deduct the... Service extremely poor! Calling customers "you" and pointing is not what you would expect if your on the street nevermind a restaurant. Food was shocking, states on the menu all food is fresh and not frozen, they must be the first restaurant to knock up cold "fresh" potato crocketts! Saw two lots of customers storm out and say they would... More

I feel violated on a most personal level...here's why Asked to see the menu but were nearly dragged to sit down before we could see it. As typical Brits we didn't want to be rude so obliged. Ordered meatballs which were flat greasy hamburgers that I wouldn't feed to a rabid dog. Also had lobster which was really five sad... More

Worst restaurant to go to. They track down tourists outsid the vatican museum and usher you in the the restaurant with fake promises of cheap prices. Then they rip you off, over charge and charge you money for items you dont order. It says that the cover fee is included but they charge you anyways. DO NOT GO HERE!

We went to this place becoz there was a flyer on which it had a 10 euro special for 3 items, not too bad we thought. BAD! Food was average. Staff "con" you into purchasing items not on the menu. NOT GOOD if you can't understand Italian. We went for the 10 euro special which included a drink. Before you... More

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
