Great food and service!

Really good food and service! Amazing ambience. I had Irish steak and my wife had something with pumpkin sauce, really good.

We arrived here following a recommendation. Our toddler was asleep in his pushchair but as we entered the head waiter started shaking his head. We were told there were no tables free however this was not true. They also informed us they did not have any baby chairs so we went further up the street to http://www.urbana47.it who welcomed us... We came here on our last night in Rome after a recommendation to visit another restaurant down the road. When we arrived at that restaurant I felt a little over dressed so we wandered down the street and happened upon here. We had a delicious meal and the restaurant was so prettily decorated and had such a romantic feel. It... More

I would out this between average and very good, so good really! We came here on our first night, and it is a nicely lit, romantic restaurant. It gets quite busy and the staff seemed a little under pressure so we had to grab their attention a few times. Maybe they were under staffed. I would suggest booking, or getting... More

We visited this restaurant last week while on holiday. It was a Friday night, the place was packed and we had not booked. However, the host was kind enough to give us a table. We had pasta amatriciana and pasta sciue sciue and beef and chicken as main. Each dish was very good and attractively presented. As a plus the... More

We ate here during our last night in Rome. It is a nice little spot, cool ambience! The food was quite good. I had the fried leek and calamari with honey, a pasta with calamari, and a pork dish. All were solid. The service was decent. I admit that I like to try and order in Italian, but we were... More

I think me and my husband ate there at least 6 times. It is simply delicious the food. If you go there, try out the moscardini fritti. They are AMAZING!!! We went there with different friends and they all had the same opinion: the food is DELICIOUS! And the prices are good too. And the staff is nice. Make sure... More

Another restaurant in Monte and a great choice. Good, simple food with a twist of its own. I tried one of their special pasta (bacon and olive) dishes (after seeing it served to another diner) and it was excellent. The waitress recommended a good wine - overall a solid pick. Service was good and the food fresh - what more... More

We found this restaurant while strolling through the narrow streets on our first day in rome. We decided to come back for dinner, the decor was interesting, modern look and with something that was drawing you in. Had appetizers, from the 2 the grilled baby octopus with soft potato puree was amazing, the taste and also the visual presentation. From... More

This little restaurant does not take reservations as it is always full. We were lucky we could sit and eat. The Napolitean owner Francesco is always busy but he still takes time for a personal comment on the dishes. There is good music all the time, but of a high quality and not Italian songs for tourists; thank you! They... More

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
