Good things come in small packages

We were recommended to this restaurant by the guy that runs the apartments that we were staying in. Highly recommend visiting this small restaurant, the food was excellent and very good value. The service was excellent and it had a very nice atmosphere. The place was busy and I think it's a very popular place, with good reason. Definitely give it a try

Valentina working at the fabulous b ad b , Made in Rome, opposite the forum, suggested this little gem. Very unassuming as it has no tables outside, but wow! The tuna carpaccio is to die for and the pasta with Neapolitan tomatoes was one of the best I have ever had, so sweet, Bellissimo! The staff were funny, attentive and... More

I was in Rome with some friends, one of them is English so we wanted something typical, so walking in the Rione Monti we found this restaurant. The entire environment is really familiar, the staff is kind and the dishes that we had were all delicious, like homemade, in the complex a very nice experience...I suggest the Parmigiana eggplants...try it!!!

You can almost walk past this little restaurant as it does not have tables outside like others on the same street. We are so glad we didn't walk past. We enjoyed an excellent lunch, excellent quality food at very reasonable prices. Relaxed atmosphere, local italians eating place which is always a good sign. My husband said his pasta dish was... This restaurant was totally faultless. Best restaurant I went to in Rome by a very long way. Food and wines were all superb, great value for money, almost in the fine-dining category. Waiting staff and management were superb also. Was also very busy most nights so I recommend going early, before 8pm. You can also book a table here too.... More

We didn't pre book so were lucky to be able to put our names down for a table at 9:30. We had seen excellent reviews for this place on Yelp, but after being so disappointed with the other places we've been on this trip that had excellent reviews from Trip Advisor we weren't expecting much, but we were wrong, it... My wife and I stayed at an apartment in central Rome near the Colosseum, and this restaurant was recommended to us by the owners. 85 m away, and after a long day of travel, we were sold. Got a table (barely) at 8pm. Appetizers were very good, calamari and leeks for me, prawns wrapped in eggplant for my wife. As... More

We went on spec, and were really pleased we chose Sciue Sciue out of all the nice restaurants on Via Urbana. The service was good and helpful but not in your face. The food was excellent and the wine reasonably priced (a classy white for 19 Euros). After eating pizza for a few days, it was nice to have something... More

We happened upon Sciue Sciue as we were staying in the neighbourhood. It's very unassuming. We had a delicious starter (courgette flowers), and delicious mains (a risotto & a chicken dish). The portions weren't huge but were still appropriately filling. Fantastic across the board. (My husband is still going on about the risotto.) We would highly recommend it and we... More
