Amazing find

This was by far our favorite restaurant in Rome. In a cute historical part of town (Monti), full of many great bars and restaurants. Sciue Sciue was so good we tried to go back twice but it was always so busy!

This was recommended by our Hotelier, and did not disappoint. Friendly laid back atmosphere. Mixture of Romans and tourists. Service was helpful and the speed of service was perfect. No waiting too long, but nice gaps between courses. We had pasta as a main dish, well what else could you have. And it was simply spot on. Turned out to... More

I have been back to Sciue, Sciue three times and the food each time has been stellar. The menu changes based on what is fresh in the market that day. I've had some of the best food ever at Sciue, Sciue (and I have been eating out regularly for 40 years)! The service is friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend... More

We went here on our last nigh in rome and it was well worth the visit. There is a lovely relaxed and romantic atmosphere with cosy decor. we got bruchetta to start which was fresh and delicious. The pastas we got were cooked perfectly with fresh and unique sauces. The staff were polite and the food was good value.I would... More

Had a very good meal here, hands down the best of our trip. Nice and cheap as well as being delicious! Very relaxed and romantic atmosphere which is very different compared to some of the other restaurants we tried nearby. The waiters can seem a bit aloof by times but when they are actually tending to your table they are... More

My son and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night. We did not think the food was anything special. The fried baby octopus appetizer was mostly breading. My pasta with sausage dish had an unusual flavor that I did not enjoy. My son's sea bass was only average. The staff was neither friendly or unfriendly but definitely not warm.... More

My husband and I came to Sciue Sciue based on the great Tripadvisor reviews (and it was close to our hotel) and we were not disappointed! The waiters were friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice (good music, nice interior etc). We came as early as 7.30 pm, so there were some free tables, but it got... More

We arrived here following a recommendation. Our toddler was asleep in his pushchair but as we entered the head waiter started shaking his head. We were told there were no tables free however this was not true. They also informed us they did not have any baby chairs so we went further up the street to http://www.urbana47.it who welcomed us... Really good food and service! Amazing ambience. I had Irish steak and my wife had something with pumpkin sauce, really good.

Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets.
