Delighful

This is a lovely restaurant in a nice little area of Rome, Monti, close to Cavour station. The food was fresh and of very good quality. It was busy and buzzing, had a nice atmosphere, thanks to the really delightful staff. It was like a good, modern Australian restaurant (sorry to be parochial).

Our hosts at our apartment recommended this. It certainly lived up to the reviews fresh, innovative Italian cuisine. A booking is essential particularly if you are going on a weekend. If it is busy when you arrive put your name down and come back later. We had the amazing stuffed zucchini flowers, followed by an amazing pasta dish and the... More

Went to Sciue Sciue based on reviews in Trip Advisor and it was as good as rated. Very good food, not tourist oriented and not terribly expensive. There were many locals eating there also which is always an interesting indicator of a good restaurant. This is a restaurant that is definitely recommended if you are staying anywhere near the Colosseum.

We had the most delicious pasta at Sciue Sciue and would have gone back many times if we could have got a booking. Absolutely fantastic fresh food with really great service. We just loved it! Book ahead as it's very popular. So glad we got to experience this beautiful food. Great location in wonderful Monti.

Very nice meal in a relaxed, inexpensive, restaurant that serves great food. Found it be getting a bit lost and was very happy we did. Was 50% full when we arrived and 100% full 15 mins later. Menu was good, quality of food excellent and good to see lots of Italians eating as well as tourists.

This was by far our favorite restaurant in Rome. In a cute historical part of town (Monti), full of many great bars and restaurants. Sciue Sciue was so good we tried to go back twice but it was always so busy!

This was recommended by our Hotelier, and did not disappoint. Friendly laid back atmosphere. Mixture of Romans and tourists. Service was helpful and the speed of service was perfect. No waiting too long, but nice gaps between courses. We had pasta as a main dish, well what else could you have. And it was simply spot on. Turned out to... More

I have been back to Sciue, Sciue three times and the food each time has been stellar. The menu changes based on what is fresh in the market that day. I've had some of the best food ever at Sciue, Sciue (and I have been eating out regularly for 40 years)! The service is friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend... More

We went here on our last nigh in rome and it was well worth the visit. There is a lovely relaxed and romantic atmosphere with cosy decor. we got bruchetta to start which was fresh and delicious. The pastas we got were cooked perfectly with fresh and unique sauces. The staff were polite and the food was good value.I would... More
