Nerone is one of my facourite pizzeria in Rome. The staff is friendly and the pizza tastes good and I love the pincher of beer! I suggest to reserve a table in advance and be there on time otherwise you are going to wait, a lot. It is always crowded even during the week.

The pizzas here are freshly cooked and staff very friendly. It is a locals pizzeria and not at all touristy. We ate early and it lacked ambiance although I suspect when busy it has a lot of atmosphere.

We went here based on reviews of a great pizza place. We liked it except the napolenan pizzaa do not have red pizza sauce!! They do not speak english either. The crust is thick on the end but very thin and watery in the middle. It had a very unique taste compared to other cracker crusts we have had.

Crowded place, specially on Saturday evening. But they will do their best to accommodate you as fast as they can, and the waiting time will be repaid, don't worry! The appetizer with the typical Roman fried are good (even if I am not a fan of those), and the pizza - the reason why you come here - is excellent!... More

I know this is not the traditional style of pizza in Rome, but it was delicious, and an amazing bargain with very fresh and generous portions of toppings. It was our 15-year old son's best food memory of the trip, and we were all pleased as well. We would have gone back again but there were so many other places... More

This is the first place I've ever been in Rome (after living here for two years) in which staff is kind to costumers and friendly. We were two of us for dinner and after a while a friend of us came to join us, waiters changed us to a bigger table without any problem. We were always served with a... More

Cute little pizzeria where I ate a Caprese pizza which was so fresh and delicious. Tiramisu was great too! The only issue was the awful inattentive service.

This restaurant is located in the middle of Trastevere district that is one of the most characteristic of Rome. The Nerone is not big so is better to book before, expecially if you want to find a seat in the weekend. The atmosphere is genuine, warm, roomy and tipically Roman. We see many tourist seated here but also a lot... More
