Lovely PIzza place

Lovely local Pizzeria, reasonable prices, lovely service, good house wine for a good price. located in Trastevere which is one of the most charming neighborhoods in Rome. We had a lovely meal of Pizzas and some roasted vegis. recommended.

Our Airbnb host suggested this place right around the corner from where we were staying. I was exhausted from working 12 days straight in Germany, now in Rome at 9 pm, so was really just looking for a decent place, nothing great. However, it was a really nice place. It was empty at 9 pm (odd for us Americans), but... More

This restaurant didn't look like much from the outside and, indeed, was not too flashy on the inside. But it was the best pizza I have ever tasted and very inexpensive. Quality, tasty, flavoursome! Would highly recommend for a delicious and very affordable meal!

Nice place in Trastevere when you will enjoy for sure your meal. Great service and great people. You have a lot of variety a mix of ingedients. Other point is the A.C. even more if you try it in summer!!

Tasty pizza at excellent prices (around 9 euros), great service (the pizza was ready in less than 10 minutes), fantastic place to eat something during a walk around Trastevere (not a place to a extended meal, it's a small simple place)

This is a cozy little spot when you are getting tired of thin Roman pizza. You feel slightly heretical for taking on the Neapolitan vibe but then you taste the crust and know why you're there. I recommend the Caprese when you need some veggies; it's a salad on the crust.

Pizzeria Nerone is one of our favorite places in Rome. It is a MUST for all our relatives and friends visiting us in Rome. Excellent Pizza bread , you can tell they use good mix of the propper flours to make their pizza and good mozzarella. It is a must and not all the pizzerias do it. The place is unformal, but they are nice and kind.

I loved it. It's crowded but the pizza is totally worth it. It is also cheap and so tasty. I recommend it. I was there based on a recommendation from an Italian friend

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
