Lovely food.

Our italian landlord recommended us this place and we loved it. We had two authentic pizzas for dinner and we loved it. Service is a bit slow but it doesnt matter as the food is worthy!!

Trastevere evenings provide a variety of places to eat, but for authentic pizza this is one of the best. A place with character, good & abundant choice of pizza's and wines and desserts! And you won't break the bank! Enjoyable night out in this Rome pizzeria as it should be!

We had two different pizzas. The price with 8 Euro per pizza was fair but the pizza was average. I can't believe that this should be the best in Rome. The service was poor and we didn't feel welcome at all.

We visited this place for dinner on a saturday evening. The accommodated us eventhough we did not have a reservation. The ambience does not justify the food though. We had bruschetta woth tomato. The bread was slightly over toasted but not too bad. We also ordered the pizza with buffalo cheese and tomatoes. Both of us are not big pizza... More

Lovely local Pizzeria, reasonable prices, lovely service, good house wine for a good price. located in Trastevere which is one of the most charming neighborhoods in Rome. We had a lovely meal of Pizzas and some roasted vegis. recommended.

Our Airbnb host suggested this place right around the corner from where we were staying. I was exhausted from working 12 days straight in Germany, now in Rome at 9 pm, so was really just looking for a decent place, nothing great. However, it was a really nice place. It was empty at 9 pm (odd for us Americans), but... More

This restaurant didn't look like much from the outside and, indeed, was not too flashy on the inside. But it was the best pizza I have ever tasted and very inexpensive. Quality, tasty, flavoursome! Would highly recommend for a delicious and very affordable meal!

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
