Staying in one of the hotels near the Pantheon, we were always on the lookout for an inexpensive place for lunch or an afternoon snack. This little shop was ideal for our purposes. There was a nice display of pre-made sandwiches (panini or some that looked like sub sandwiches) but they will make you one to order if you like.... More

Just outside the Pantheon sits this fantastic smallgoods shopped packed with produce from all over Italy. Prosciutto and salamis hang from the ceilings and the shelves are lined with cheese and other goodies. Or try a panini- the best we had in Italy- fresh and delicious.

Just next to the Pantheon, who would expect such a true and authentic "romano" salumeria. Not really hungry in the evening, we stepped into this place looking for some 'formaggio' and prosciutto to take with us to the hotel. The owner suggested we should stay and enjoy a platter of delicious pecorino & prosciutto with a nice prosecco, to our... More

Do not just grab something and eat it on the go! The secret to this place is to select what you want (like a variety of cheeses and cold cuts) and then share them in the back room with a glass of wine. The quality of the cheeses and cold cuts was very high and we loved everything we tried,... More

The most traditional way to eat italian pannini and products, with friendly staff and low prices. Easy way to find it opposite the historical Pantheon. For all of them who like cheese and more italian products. You must visit it!

Found ourselves in the middle of town in need of a snack. Thought the place looked lovely but didn't expect much due to its location. However we were pleasantly surprised. Good range of snacks ( we had a sandwich and pastry plus some candied orange which was gorgeous) serving staff were great....helpful and friendly. Only downside was the surly teenager... More

tasting the Italian salami and cheese is a must. This place is located in a central place and ideal to have a snack. Don't expect to have a good sitting down meal, especially in a busy day, though there are some stools inside. The choice of salami and cheese is wide and prices are reasonable especially since you are in... More

It was our first afternoon in Rome and just needed to have some lunch before it got too late whilst exploring the Pantheon and also having to be aware of the exorbitant food prices in the part of town. The middle aged waitress was very welcoming and helpful. we were pleasantly surprised, since both pizzas we ordered(4 cheeses and a... More

The choices of pannini etc were great, you can't sit inside but that really isn't a problem because It is right by the Pantheon so to be outside wandering & enjoying the sights with our pannini's was perfect (it's doing as the Italians do!) :)
