We have now been to Clemente 4 times over 4 visits to Roma. The food quality is always excellent as is the service with a solid wine list. We had gnocchi with pistachios and asparagus and tagliatelle alla porcini . One of the best tiramisu in Italy - enjoy !!

This ristorante is located in a small tranquil piazza two blocks from the Pantheon. The outdoor tables are perfect in good weather. The maître de is a grand fellow and manages a friendly and attentive waitstaff. The food is fantastic and there is an excellent selection of local wines. We loved it!

Our family returned to Rome recently after many years living and travelling to other destinations. Originally from this city, our holiday needs were more to 'fit back' into the life and culture rather than be a tourist and experience Rome 'come un turista'. We ate at this restaurant a few times during our stay in Rome. Loved every dish, we... More

Unless plenty of restaurants around, this place offers great, fresh and home made food. We had a very nice evening enjoying the chief cooking and wine. I would recommend this place to everyone who like good food. Service was excellent as well!

I do an lot of restaurant reviews. The servers here were rude. The food was passable and way over priced. The only plus point was outdoor seating and the location close to Pantheon.

Clemente Alla Madelene is an unexpected find....located steps from the Pantheon in a small piazza trafficked by tourists. This was a our 2nd time eating there and it is sure to be a regular stop whenever we visit Rome. Start with the Mozzarella in carrozza con pomodori stufati. Fantastic! .....as was everything else we ate. Everyone in our party said... More

The food is to die for, no tourist rubbish here. Situated on the square opposite the church with an opera singer singing was just a magical time Try the salt cod and potato in chickpea cream. Yum

A colleague and myself decided to drop in here for dinner simply because it looked to be the pick of the bunch in a lovely square with several other places to choose from, all of which were extremely busy. Indeed the terrace at Clemente was full and since we had not reserved we agreed to sit inside but with an... More

This restaurant came recommended in our guide book so we arrived for lunch. My mother ordered king prawns which came shelled but with no finger bowl provided. She requested one immediately (and we repeated the request three or four times), but fifteen minutes later she was still struggling. The restaurant was not that busy but there was a table of... More
