The staff at our hotel recommended this place to us and they were so right! It was one the best meals we have had in Roma. Do not miss the eggplant! It simply melts in your mouth.

We selected the restaurant based on a review in a local guide, and were delighted we did. From start to finish it was a delicious and delightful experience. The service was attentive and solicitous, and we enjoyed every course. The pastas were incredibly good. The restaurant has a great wine list and the overall ambiance, outdoors on a small piazza,... We went here fir lunch and loved the food and ambience. The service is a bit slow but acceptable. We had the spaghetti with fried zucchini and the cnocchi which were both great. This is well worth a visit and will not dissapoint, reasonably priced for great Italian food

Great food and service. Good choice of wines. Helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Try to get a table outside in the piazza.

I was recommended this restaurant by the concierge at the Waldorf Astoria in Rome. Meal good but not the best we had in Rome. Service started off well then it became obvious once we had finished our main course that they wanted our table and we were constantly hassled about dessert and coffee. We had not even finished our wine... More

very nice is the area of Rome where this restaurant is located. Very nice is also the inside, without any exaggeration but with a solid warm atmosphere. The food is excellent, starting from the choice of raw materials they have (try their pastas with pecorino cheese, and see what I mean). Prices are not too popular, but it is definitely... More

Having been to Rome a heap of times, we went to Clemente alla Maddalenna on the recommendation of our hotel. We rarely do this so we don't end up at a "tourist" restaurant. Unfortunately most of the restaurants we love are closed on Sundays so we did not have a lot of options. The location of the restaurant is around... More
