My husband and I had two meals here. We saw the restaurant advertised in Where Magazine. One was for lunch the first time and the next day was for dinner. Our first experience was very good for our meal but the service was a little aloof. Our second visit for dinner was totally different. It was... read more

This was my favorite dinner in Rome & I would have eaten there every night. It was our first night in Rome, so we could have been somewhat struck with happiness. Everything about the evening was wonderful. We started with the bread and campari spritz. It's the perfect cooling drink with appetizers. And something you should have when in Italy.... More

We met friends here for a delightful dinner. They accommodated our party of 7 at a lovely table outside overlooking the piazza. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend!

We went to this restaurant on advice from our hotel, and I was hesitant to go to a "tourist" restaurant, however, we enjoyed this restaurant and it's lovely setting very much. To be sure, I saw only other travelers dining, but the setting in a beautiful little square near the Pantheon was magical. I believe it was the owner who... More

We walked out after 30min sitting in this restaurant, and then finallly, the waiter/host came over to take our order and in the middle of taking order, he stopped, step outside to greet others guests who just came in without coming back to complete our orders. We waited for a while and then walked out the front door and he... More

We had dinner at Clemente Alla Maddalena a couple of weeks ago. It is quaintly situated on a square with a church, but which restaurant in Rome isn't?! We had the degustation menu and it was good-ish. For that price you can eat much better in Rome. Service was slow to good.

This was definitely the highlight of the restaurants in Rome for us. Tucked away and not easy to find but it was worth the challenge. Everything we ordered was incredible including the wine. Service was outstanding with 2 or 3 people around our table continuously.

The staff at our hotel recommended this place to us and they were so right! It was one the best meals we have had in Roma. Do not miss the eggplant! It simply melts in your mouth.

We selected the restaurant based on a review in a local guide, and were delighted we did. From start to finish it was a delicious and delightful experience. The service was attentive and solicitous, and we enjoyed every course. The pastas were incredibly good. The restaurant has a great wine list and the overall ambiance, outdoors on a small piazza,...
