Good but a bit over priced

The lobster linguine is really good and I was happy with the wine they selected but this place was over priced. Especially considering the lobster didn't have much meat. The service was good and they have a nice outdoor space.

Much too expensive: quality is average. However, the setting on a small place, not far from the Piazza Navona, is nice.

This place was recommended by our hotel and we dropped by for a quick lunch. The outdoor seating is beautiful, located on an elevated platform on a quiet side street. You dine under the canopy of tall trees and singing birds. It was white truffle season so we had a plate of that and another plate of squid and botargo... More

Food was great. Everything we tasted was a pleasant food experience. Wine selection was also fine. Would say that it was a bit over-rated, but worth its Money.

Bad service and absolutly unprofessional! They assured to take care of allergy restrictions but brought nearly every course wrong. Then they assured us, that the main course was ok and after eating half of it the head of service said they send out the wrong one... The evenning was a total desaster and they didn't even say proper sorry.

We lived in Rome 2009 to 2012. We specifically are at this restaurant because it was used in the Julia Roberts movie Eat, Pray, Love. My wife considers this her favorite restaurant in Rome. The outdoor patio is very nice on a relatively quiet side street off of Piazza Navonna (great piazza at Christmas time for gifts, caroling, lots and... More

*This review applies only to breakfast. Fantastic food and great service. Authentic italian pastries and coffee. Highly recommended for the cream croissant with cappuccino.

We were in Rome for 4 days at the end of November and dined at Santa Lucia on the hotel's recommendation. It was actually warm enough to dine on the patio, however that was the highlight. We ordered a decent (and very much over-priced bottle of wine), the fried appetizer which was fine, but not excellent by any means..and then... More

We dined al fresco and it's a truly beautiful setting. The staff was attentive and professional...although a little condescending correcting some of our Italian pronunciation, but we were a little loud and a little demanding so I don't really blame them too much :) The calamari was fantastic, the ghoccietti excellent, the filet lovely, but the veal was the worst....
