Good, simple food. Expensive drinks!

The pasta with sausages and a tomato and cream sauce was gorgeous. It was 4 Euros for a soft drink though which we thought was a rip off. I think the beer must be overpriced too as one couple stopped specifically to check the beer prices and then walked off. Good cooling system with water sprays... read more

We dined in as it was so hot in Rome, the room has a great atmosphere, rustic and "Italiano" without seeming over done and touristy. The service was excellent and the food superb, especially the rabbit. Whilst very italian, for those tiring of pasta and preserved meats, their pepper steak is amongst the best. The wine we wanted was not... More

I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to return for a visit, but I would come back if it was convenient. The restaurant is pretty big & the restrooms are ok. Nice patio area but due to the heat we stayed insides Beers were semi-cold & food was ok. Service was friendly but not very attentive.

We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. Was not too busy when we went. Cool inside and service was good. Servers spoke good English, menu was extensive and had English translations. We ate the roast leg of lamb for 4 of us with salad and potatoes - it was good and more than enough. We also had the calamari and... More

We walked past this restaurant several times and the food coming out looked great, plus it was always busy with locals and tourists alike. The menu is very big but the quality of the food is great. Between us we enjoyed pasta and meat dishes (including traditional Roman Saltimbocca) and we both loved our food. The house lager is very... More

We stayed in Rome for 2 nights and this restaurant was a few blocks from our hotel. It was convenient, had decent pricing and food was also good. We actually dined here a 2nd night since we enjoyed it the night prior. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed pasta dishes the first night. My husband has the spaghetti... More

After a 3 hour walking tour in Rome our appetite was fully developed. Since it was an awkward time for dinner (6:30pm), we looked for the first place that was open. Despite some not so great reviews here...we decided to give this restaurant a chance. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. We had the 4 cheese gnocchi... More

We went there for lunch after a long visit to Colosseum. Since we are vegetarians we asked the waiter for suggestions. And boy, he gave some pretty good ones! There vegetarian lasagne with pesto was just awesome! Melts in your mouth! On top of that they prepared a special off the menu vegetarian risotto for us which was pretty amazing... More
