After our tour of the coliseum we had lunch at this cute little restaurant for fried eggs with truffle and a small salad, chewy thin margarita pizza and a Caesar salad that looked nothing like you would think at Pasqualino al Colosseo

In one square block across the street from the Coloseum there must be 40 - 50 little restaurants. Our cab driver told us to walk around the block to find one we liked because there were several good ones. We looked in on about six while circling the block and made our choice based on the atmosphere and apparent upscale... More

We were there for a snack when we were visiting Colosseum. Bevereges are overprized (their prices aren't in menu) and couvert is higher than at other restaurants in Rome as well. There are 3 waiters for few tables but you have to wait for their attention while they are in the middle of conversation. They even don't clean tables inside... More

For our first meal in Rome it was a very good food experience! We are wondering if the food in Rome is everywhere so good or is was just beginners luck? :) We recommend!

We stayed three days in Rome, and had dinner at Pasqualino every night. The excellent food, the kindness of its staff, and a comfortable location, makes Pasqualino al Colosseo a gorgeous choice where to dine in Rome.

I stayed close by and ate here everday as the food was so good. I tried restaurants all over Rome during my stay and had to keep coming back to Pasqualinos. If you happen to be going to the Colosseum/Roman Forum then please drop in here as it is less than a 5 minute walk and you won't be dissapointed... More

We found this restaurant too expensive for the quality of the meal, also found the service staff a little less helpful in explaining the meal details.

My wife and I were not excited to eat at a place so close to the Colosseum, but we were hungry and wanted pizzas, so we stopped here for lunch. They had a special lunch offer with pizzas, and we tried, and we were very happy! The service was pretty slow, probably because we were inside when most people were... More

We first ate at Pasqualino in 1997, and have returned each time we've been to Rome since (a total of 8-10 experiences). The service and friendliness of the staff keep us coming back, and we've never had a bad (or even mediocre) meal. 15 years ago this was a very inexpensive place -- now that they've caught up to typical... My son wanted pizza and the other 4 of us had enough pizza for the 3 days so therefore I compromised and chose I place that did both. This meant perhaps that we were 1 block closer to the Colosseo and therefore more likely to pay tourist prices. This was the case to some extent but also we had a... More
