Ok, but nothing special

Stopped for lunch after visiting the coliseum, first impression was good. They had fans blowing water spray which was a welcome relief in the blistering heat. Service was fast but not so friendly ! We had 2 diet cokes & shared a pizza , bread was also placed on the table which we didn't ask for or... read more

Ate in this restaurant on the 12th of May and paid by credit card. Having just received my credit card bill I noticed they charged me twice. I don't know if this was an oversight or a deliberate scam, either way I cannot contact them and therefore have no recourse only to let others know about this and to be... More

I have been reviewing on Tripadvisor for some years now, and this is the first time I have ever rated a place as terrible - in fact I don't think I have even added a poor before! However, this restaurant, close to the Colosseum was, without a doubt, the worst place I have ever been. We had been looking for... More

We stopped here after a Colosseum by night tour and only because the place we were looking for was closed. Indifferent service, my artichoke starter was ok but my husband's bruschetta was so hard he couldn't even break it by hand - let alone with his teeth. Main course of lasagna was horrible. Tasted like it was microwaved, chemical tomato... More

This restaurant is awful! 6€ for a glass of wine so disgusting that it must cost 6€ for a whole case! The pasta were not good either and let's not forget the worst: we ordered an Italian appetiser expecting cheese and ham etc. We got industrial salami and one slice of industrial ham... I should have not paid the bill!!

Seeing the Colosseum lit up at night is a must when in Rome, so what better thing to do then have dinner really close by afterwards! That is how we came across this restaurant and we are very pleased we did! The place has a really nice classic feel and the photos / paintings create a real sense of pride... More

My partner and I had a delicious meal earlier on in the evening (which I will also be writing a review about) but had walked past this restaurant earlier in the day and had seen the fabulous looking cakes on display!!! We were not disappointed! After our meal at a different restaurant we decided to take a wonder and try... More

We have decided that Italians want you to savor your food. They wait awhile between courses before approaching you for another. Tonight we had lasagna and the apparently Crab Scampi Risotto even though I ordered Shrimp Scampi Risotto. The Zuppa soup is not Olive Garden, it is vegetable.

A bit more expensive as near the Colosseum. Was not able to offer a jug of water as didn't have the filter which was a bit disappointing. Beware, the bread basket is charged as bread & service so whether you eat it or not suspect you'd be charged. It was just put on the table so you obviously had it.... More
