We were looking for a good place to eat near the Pantheon and wanted to avoid the tourist traps with hawkers out front when we stumbled on this place. Nice tables under an outdoor umbrella with a friendly, family-feel. Outstanding lasagne and the pizza was great too. Very happy to find such a good place so close to the tourist... More

This restaurant is in a quieter piazza just away from the Pantheon. The food is delicious, the staff are attentive and fun and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. We ate here twice during our visit because we enjoyed the food and experience so much.

A quick lunch during a busy visit. Of course, knowing they serve pizza, you are sure the beer is well served.

An excellent location for a relaxing meal just around the block from the Pantheon. While the eating establishments around the Pantheon are OK for people-watching; the service and food quality occasionally take a hit. We love this location for the seating area that is setback from the street; and it also has an inside area if you really seek a... More

We picked this at random on the way to the pantheon. Given its proximity to the major sights it was surprisingly quiet. Really happy with the food. Nothing spectacular but decent value in a lovely setting.

Just around the corner from the Pantheon, this beautiful restaurant is located in a quiet square that provided some much-needed tranquility in an otherwise loud and busy city. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The owner, an elderly gentleman, let us in before they opened, helped our kids connect to the free WIFI, and took a very sweet interest... More

I have been to this charming little place twice now. Both times I found the food to be consistently very good, especially the fresh fish, with delightful service from the wait staff. Yes, some reviews say that it is situated beside a parking area; that's true. However, it's nice being able to be away from the crowds and having street-handlers... More

Worse dinner in 14 days in Italy. The food was terrible, soup had no flavour with a few vegetables floating in it, the lasagna was burnt. We were charged 4 Euros for a basket of stale bread, when we complained they told us it was a cover charge! We really should have stopped then but we ordered gelato and chocolate... More

The Le Volte is located a few blocks from the Pantheon on a very small piazza. This places it just beyond the crowds around Pantheon. We found sitting outside here so much more relaxing than in one of the numerous places along the narrow streets surrounding the Pantheon. Waiters were polite, helpful and prompt. We had salad and antipasta followed... More
