Good service and ok food

We were at the fountain and too tired to hunt for food. The nearest was this place. I'm not sure if it's normal, but you must pay for bread and service (€1,50 per person). My wife had the seafood pasta. Mussel and prawns weren't fresh. I had the oxtail. If you're not a meat-fat loving person... read more

We had read no reviews, and chose this place purely as we were hungry when on this road. The other few restaurants around had people outside jostling you to enter but this place didn't. We were warmly greeted and served lovely bread with olive oil. We shared two starters of caprese and cured ham. Both were superb. We then shared... More

What a lovely dinner we had!! At the beginning I was not too convinced to enter a restaurant so close to the Trevi Fountain: I was afraid to get into some tourist trap. I was wrong as the menu outside the door was showing decent prices considering the location. Dinner was lovely. Really lovely. I enjoyed a really nice and... More

We were pretty hungry after walking around for a few hours so decided to have lunch here after seeing the Trevi fountain. The pasta i had was fine while the 'carciofo alla romana' was so tiny and certainly not worth 5€ for a side dish. The suppli' was a bit dry. All in all it did fill the gap for... More

After a disappointed visit to the Trevi fountain(they are doing some repairs) we were tired and need it some food and rest, most of the time I would not go to restaurant close to the attraction for fear that it is a tourist trap well thank God i broke my rule. Food was great for a great price the service... More

Found this place by chance, excellent food and service, the staff were very friendly. We are here 3 nights in a row and if we should ever return to Rome we will definitely go back here to eat.

My family and I arrived in rome after about 18 hours of travel... Checked in to our hotel near the Trevi and took a walk ( just to stay awake and fight off jet lag). Restaurant is warm and inviting.. Great waiter, friendly (not all Romans are)... Had some chickory, pasta, wine, and the kids had pizza...great food, very reasonably... More

We found this little gem of a restaurant after a long tourist attraction filled day and we were so pleased we did. Great authentic Italian restaurant with brilliant service and unbelievable lasagna. If you're around and about the Trevi fountain I cannot recommend trying their lasagne enough. It's fresh, creamy, and just to die for! It was that good we... More

We eat here at lunch, 2 days in a row...we trided pasta carbonara, amatriciana, escalop and chops and everything was very tasty and fresh. We feel like in a real traditional place in the midlle of turistic area of Trevi. The food was very good, quick and large portions. The prices ur resonable, the bread and service charge (or coperto)... More

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
