Pretty sure we were the only non-Italian diners there on the Saturday night we visited. There were couples young and old and families. The place just had a great vibe. There appeared to be a buffet that with our limited Italian,we chose not to tackle. Our off the menu pizza choices were fresh and delicious. The house wine was very... More

Good choice of menu. Waitress recommended our starter and when we asked for ice to go in our water she obligingly gave us a bowl of crushed ice. Similarly a large chilli pepper pot for black pepper. We had pig and lamb for the main course. Both were rather fatty but tasty. Lemon sorbet was drunk through a straw. Menu... More

I'm not a pasta eater, but what else can you do when your in Italy? The friend with us was from an Italian heritage. He was extremely impressed with the food, menu choices, and variety of antipasto. I had tomatoes and bacon in a red sauce on thick spaghetti like noodles. It was very tasty!!! Others in our group commented... More

I have just arrived home from this restaurant. Me and my partner ordered two meals and a side of chips. I got my lasagne which was already cold to start with. it was a tiny portion, similar to a microwave meal. Waited 15 mins for chips to come with it, never came. So I asked after them, they came another... More

definitely not a place to go if you are a tourist...we needed a place to go for lunch on Sunday and happened into this spot as were wandering the neighborhood and it had lots of locals and full tables...the "old man" who was our server obviously disliked tourists (even ones that stay local and eat local and know local) b/c... This is a very good moderately priced restaurant within easy walking distance of the Vatican. But, it's far enough away that it's not one of the crappy tourist restaurants. I've used it twice with groups of college students for lunch after going to the Vatican museum. To reach it go straight out the exit to the museum, go down the... More

Recommended by our hotel we had the buffet and were very well looked after by the waiter who talked us through what was on offer. Possibly a little pricey compared to other restaurants we ate in but not a bad experience

We had a great meal at this restaurant and just for fun I looked it up on Tripadvisor when we returned to our hotel. I was astounded by all the negative reviews. I began to wonder if it could be the same place. However when you read the reviews you see that most relate to what the restaurant charge for... More
