A little piece of Latin Food in Rome!

We were so happy when we saw this restaurant walking distance from Casa Romana. Great food and atmosphere. If you want to taste Italian food with a latin twist, this is the place.

Great Peruvian food and very original but definitely not a cheap place even though it looks so. A must for all the Latin food lovers!

Great Peruvian restaurant...food was delicious and service was very good! I had the Seco de carne with beans and rice, and my husband ordered Lomo saltado- meat was tender and the flavour was perfect! I would definitely eat here again.

Dont miss the Lomo Saltado and arroz con pollo. Original peruvian flavours. Bravo!!! They have cusqueña beer. Prices are reasonable considering how big are the servings. We paid 10 euros per a lomo saltado and 2 people ate. We will be back for sure.

Nice experience and a great variety of items. Ceviche was very good, seafood was also good. The restaurant is a casual setting.

It was the first time I was eating food from Perù. I like it, specially the main dish and one of their homemade cakes. I think you should pay attention of what you choose if you want to eat well, but I could see it was ok overall. The price it's ok.

So my In-laws and my Wife stumbled upon this restaurant the other night and we had to go back the day after because it was delicious. I had the Bistec with Egg and rice and beans and salad and OMG. My entire family aggreed that after having Italian food for so long we needed a change and wow we're we... More

After having more than our fill of Italian food, we wanted to try something different. We decided to try out this place located along Castro Pretorio and just a block away from our hotel and the Termini on the other direction. My dad was particularly lured when he saw they served Cabrito (goat) on the menu. Service by the Peruvian... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
