Took my Valentine to Artigiani del Pesce for Valentine's day in Rome upon recommendation of our Hotel. I ordered the 16 euro vermicelli pasta with lobster and a mixed green salad. Of course, we ordered a bottle of wine. After delivery of the wine, the waiter asked/indicated he had a 800 gr of lobster in the kitchen, I asked, what... More

I was looking forward to a seafood dinner in Rome on Valentines Day. Our hotel recommended this restaurant and it was close. We checked the menu outside and it appeared to have a variety of items of varying costs. We were seated and a young waiter took our order. After deciding on the wine, we ordered both lobster fettacine and... More

This ristorante looked impressive. A seafood cooler as you enter, White table cloths, dark wood. They did not have the first 3 wine choices. The server, Anna, wrinkled her nose at our pasta choice. When we enquired about the Sea Lion she told us it was the house specialty. It was 16€ per 100g. She had 1-700g that she could... More

Totally overpriced - 70euro for 2 fillets of bass, 60 euro for 4 langoustine..... 'faulty towers' would have been upmarket compared to this hole....8 euro for a plate of scalloped potato that had been fried in rancid fish oil....the sea bass came with some wilted/shredded lettuce.....I could go on and on....places like this only survive because of visitors to rome......don't... If you like being taken advantage of then go to this restaurant, because they will definitely steal from you. We ordered salads and a bottle of wine, the problem came when we ordered our 1st entree. They doubled the lobster price even though we were very specific and said no we just want this amount. We had ordered a 2nd... More

We had dinner in this fish restaurant which lies close to the Piazza del Popolo. The food was very good quality and fresh but we felt that it was overpriced. Also we were the only guests in this restaurant on a Sunday evening in August which felt strange. Nevertheless we enjoyed our dinner. We were able to choose our fish... More

We ate fresh and delicious cuisine, and we had a lovely time. The restaurant is clean, and clean toilets. We took a little child, although the correspondence was good staff.

The queenie scallops were absolutely delicious but a platter of smoked fish on the disappointing side. Not actually bad, but nothing special. Staff very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Thanks for the best wine ever !

I'll start by adressing the food. Aside from my husband's lobster pasta which was fantastic and a generous portion, the food was average at best. My crab pasta had no crab meat in the sauce, rather crab pieces still in the shell were placed on top of the pasta, but as I was given no implements to extract any meat,... More
