Rude waiters being pushy about tips and overcharging on the bill

Our pizzas were good but our meal was ruined by being overcharged for extra toppings which were then not itemised on our bill. A 7 euro pizza was suddenly 13 euros instead. We were then harassed (twice) for a tip - rudely told that "service is 10%". Firstly tips are voluntary and secondly we... read more

Had a nice lunch al fresco at Domiziano. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pizza was above average for Rome, but not like NY Pizza. Pasta dishes were good, and nice size. Nice spot to people watch. Nice wines. Would go back when in the area.

We were a family group of 8 (4 adults and 4 college kids) who ended up in the Piazza Navona our first night in Rome. We were looking for a place to eat and although very busy the staff here arranged two tables for our group looking out over the Piazza. It was a great evening with great service. The... More

It was so good here! I came with a group of friends, and the food came out very quickly and the service was great. It is the perfect place to sit and eat, while watching everyone in the Piazza! The food was really yummy. You can't go wrong with it!

My Partner and I came here for lunch last week. We had the carbonara and a cream based Pizza, both were amazing! The waiter was also very friendly.

We stopped here for an evening meal and to watch the world go by for a while. There are some options on the menu that will have your wallet melting by the time the bill comes but choose wisely and simply and you'll benefit from good simple food in a great location. Our waiter was good (if a little distracted... More

The first guy to greet us and show us to our table was really quite gruff and rude, but then the waiter was really nice, especially with our 7yr old. Food wasn't brilliant so wouldn't really recommend.

On a hot July afternoon this was the perfect place for a cool drink and refreshing sprays of water. It also has a great view on the huge fountain in the centre of Piazza Navona and Chiesa di Sant'Agnese. The staff was great and our lunch more than adequate.

We found this restaurant by chance and were lucky to do so. The food is excellent with good sized portions. I suggest getting the house wine as it's good quality and cheap. We sat to the side rather than on the piazza as it's a little quieter and it seemed the service was a little quicker. Overall highly recommended.
