Quiet corner of Rome

Whenever I'm in Rome I try to visit this restaurant at least once. I have always found the food to be of a consistent quality usually opting for pasta followed by a good grilled fish. The waiters are professional, welcoming and helpful.

This restaurant has a nice location in piazza. Menu consists of different tasty meat and fish dishes, very delicious. Helpful and hospitable staff will satisfy all you requirement. Price level is also acceptable for such cuisine. The restaurant is worth while visiting.

Now, have to start by saying our kids are not fussy eaters. However, the amazement and attention showered on our kids as hey devoured everything in sight was first class. So friendly were the waiters that our kids wanted to go back every night... No mean feat for 7 year olds. Food quality was lovely and washed down with a... More

My usual places very near my hotel were booked up and due to a schedule change I did not have reservations anywhere. It was raining which disinclined me to walk to one of the many excellent restaurants within a 1 mile radius. Given the location in central Rome near the Pantheon, I was not surprised that this restaurant is aimed... More

L’Angoletto is one of those restaurants we keep finding in Italy, which remind us over and over that it’s tough to go wrong when picking a restaurant in Italy. On the evening we ate there, I had been suffering from an upset stomach during the previous 24 hours and we cancelled a reservation at what was supposed to be a... More

A small local restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner near the Pantheon. A safe quiet distance form the tourist hordes, the restaurant offers a delicious Italian menu with focus on fish specialties. I recommend the bresaola antipasto and the calamari salad. Perfect food for a hot roman day. Excellent wine selection. Service charming. Prices fair.

We had two mains a side dish and a few drinks. The whole affair cost 60 euro plus service charge. I had the fillet steak and sauté potatoes which I enjoyed, my partner had fettuccine pasta with porcini mushrooms which she described as very nice. The menus are in both Italian and English . The waiter was very friendly. The... More

We recently visited Rome and stayed in a hotel in the square where the Panetheon was located. We stopped at this restaurant on our first night for dinner. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was so fresh and delicious. We went back 2 more times for dinner as it was the best food we had in all of Italy.... More

L'angoletto was recommended by the hotel we were staying. The menu was large, and the food was good. They have a good list of antipasti so we went there again to taste the different ones. Also the atmosphere was friendly. I would recommend L'Angoletto if you are around Pantheon.

We stumbled on this restaurant after visiting the Pantheon. It is in the corner of a small square and easily missed. Which would be a shame as the food and service are excellent. So good that we went back the following day. The chicken with peppers was delicious as was the saltimbocca. Deep fried baby squid very good. Washed down... More
