Friendly atmosphere with good food

L'angoletto was recommended by the hotel we were staying. The menu was large, and the food was good. They have a good list of antipasti so we went there again to taste the different ones. Also the atmosphere was friendly. I would recommend L'Angoletto if you are around Pantheon.

We stumbled on this restaurant after visiting the Pantheon. It is in the corner of a small square and easily missed. Which would be a shame as the food and service are excellent. So good that we went back the following day. The chicken with peppers was delicious as was the saltimbocca. Deep fried baby squid very good. Washed down... More

This restaurant could be a good choice. When I go in this area of Rome usually I prefer to eat in others place... Often everything is full and than I have find second choice in this restaurant. The place is really kind with a table arrangement that give the sufficient intimacy. The waiters are very polite and give to customers... More

This is a lovely neighborhood restaurant - not fancy but very good Italian food served with friendliness and a good energy. We were, quite frankly, looking for a good restaurant which opened "early" -- that is before 7:30. This is the place. When we arrived at 7:00 we were either the first or second table. The food was all very... More

I always go to this restaurant on every visit to Rome, which is at least once per year. This restaurant consistently delivers great service and a great meal! My two favorite dishes are the Sepia Risotto and the mixed seafood risotto. It's so good here; I almost always order one of the two dishes. I usually get the buffalo mozzarella... More

Ate here on New Years Day. Could not have been more pleased. Food was great as was service (Roberto - - attentive and great sense of humor). When we saw another table with an appetizer we did not order (tuna tartare) and asked about it, Roberto had the kitchen make us a small, but generous complimentary tasting (it was GREAT).... More

They are known for their seafood. Tucked away in a small piazza near the Pantheon, this restaurant was awesome. The seafood appetizers, and mozzarella caprese started us off on the right foot. Their meat and chicken dishes were moist and tender. The wine selection was excellent.

L'Angolettos is convenient to Pantheon but away from noisy crowds. Outside dining - under awning if rainy; patio heaters if cool evening. Our group ate chicken with peppers (delicious - for the less adventuresome), lasagna (traditional and "perfect"), spaghetti carbonara ("heavenly" - high praise for a family favorite), ravioli sea bass in shrimp sauce (she wouldn't even share it with... Must check out this quaint restaurant located on a quiet street in Rome. The service was immaculate and the food surpassed any expectations we had. Hope to visit one day again!
