Like other reviewers, we were recommended to this restaurant by our Hotel which was literally two streets away. We hadn't booked and the place was packed. However we were lucky enough that two people were just about to leave so we only had a few minutes wait. The food was great, as was the wine and the friendly service. On... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and was literally a 2 min walk away so we decided to try it and were very glad that we did. The food and service were great. The only downside was that we got the last table in the restaurant which was by the door which was pretty chilly every time the door... More

After 3 days journey in Rome, the best Italian restaurant I tried. The waiter was very friendly (he knew all the greek football teams !!) and all the stuff and the food was excellent. It is small so you better make a reservation first. The prices are normal and the service is logically fast!

Ate here on our first night on recommendation of our hotel. We hasn't booked but were seated promptly. My partner had the Parma ham and mozzarella starter and I had garlic bruschetta which we shared. For mains I had seafood pasta on recommendation of the staff which was to die for and my partner had the spring lamb with potatoes... More

We found this hotel just around the corner from Morgana hotel and what a little gem. The first night we visited it was fully booked! So we went the next night and managed to get in and we are so glad we did!! Food was absolutely delicious and customer service fantastic. Very well priced and definitely recommended.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here. There is a a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly. We all had a main meal and dessert, shared a bottle of prosecco and water for 111euros. Would recommend.

After a long day of walking and being around a lot of people, it was nice to go to a small and quiet restaurant for a very nice and very good meal. They specialize in tradition Roman dishes - pasta carbonara, pasta with clams, etc. And don't forget to get the wine! The most amazing thing was even the red... More

I couldn't fault the restaurant very well balanced. The waiter not only spoke English but was able to understand and return English humour.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
