We couldn't get in the first night and made a reservation for a few days later. Restaurant was full so seemed a good sign. This was recommended by our hotel, based on other clients' recommendations. The staff were attentive, and the restaurant itself was warm and well decorated. We had minestrone soup followed by pasta. All well cooked and presented. Ordered the Chianti Classico - delicious. Had to have limoncello too - which was topped us for us! A good restaurant - we'd visit... More

We have just returned from dinner at this restaurant, and were very disappointed in the quality of the food. We had simple pasta dishes (ragu and carbonara) for our first course, which were fine, although the egg had started to clump and stick to the pasta in the carbonara. For our second course, we selected a mixed grill and a... More

Stayed in a hotel in the area and tried the different places. It might be a more traditional then the rest but the food wasn't much different. Found it a bit more pricey then the other places, but not by much. The staff were on top of it and very prompt. I would definitely eat here again.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu, a short 5 minute walk away and were recommended by the front of house staff to visit Cecio as it fitted our criteria for: excellent authentic Italian food, nearby, friendly service and for a reasonable price. The wine was excellent, and we ordered a little out of our comfort zone... I opted for tagliata... More

Went with a friend of mine and stumbled on this delightful restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is great. Overall a wonderful experience; I recommend asking about the wine. Can't wait to return!

My friend and I went because it was recommended. Price: Entrees were about 10-18 Euro Wine could be bought by the glass Service: We went early (around 6:00PM) so there were only a few couples in the restaurant and they were all tourists. The waiters hung over us the whole time and it made dinner very uncomfortable. One was also... More

It seems that on a Saturday night in Rome it is actually pretty hard to find somewhere to eat unless you've pre-booked. As we were running the half-marathon on the Sunday morning we went to the hotel reception to see if they could recommend somewhere that would serve us something hearty and full of carbs. They suggested Cecio. Thankfully the... More

Our hotel recommended this place and clearly not without reason. Definitely by far the best Italian food I've ever tasted. Our waiter really very good. Price totally acceptable compared to what we got.

We were there for dinner.the waitress (or owner), was confident enough to recommend us what are their top sell food. The food is good and do give something different as compare to other place. However the service environment is abit so so as they give us impression that order-eat-go. Kind of not so friendly . Need to improve in service.
