Generous portions at affordable prices. The pasta plates are big enough to feed a hungry adult. Service was ok, the waiter explained well the difference in sorts of pastas and sauces. Good experience all in all.

It was nice place to have dinner outside. Although in many comments people did not like the old guys, they were friendly to our daughter.

The food is normal. The service is very bad. The waiters only speak english before the meal. After the meal, they only speak italian. They didn't want to accept the pay card because they said we order few food for both. They lied to us and they said: "pay card only for bills more than 30 euros. You have to... More

Local food made to a high standard. Yes the two older gentlemen were a bit grumpy but not unpleasant and made concessions to our orders; Tables put together to accommodate our family of 8 and split orders of pizza. Not overly priced and plates warmed to hold the heat outdoors. Try the swordfish !

The area around Mozzicone has really changed in the last couple of years, and gone upmarket. Where once this was the dingy and iffy end of the streets leading away from the Vatican, very different from the touristy areas at the other end, now it's really up-and-coming. But Mozzicone remains largely unchanged, and still stays true to its 1970s decor... More

This little ostaria is in the middle of the very touristic area of the vatican., so most of the custumers are tourists. So are you. This being said: it is a charming place. The terrace is nice. The service is nononsense, btu if you are friendly and order in Italian they melt away. The food is good, fresh homemade. The... More

I agree with other reviews saying that the service is bad!!!! It is awful!! I have never been in a restaurant where there has been service as bad. We asked for a table for our group but were bluntly told 'No!'. We stupidly split up, some going to nearby restaurants (I wish I had been one of them!!) Five of... More

I've been there just yesterday with my family and was not disappointed - well, not too much. We had decent food (in an otherwise extremely touristy area where food tends to be on the lousy side), even though the supplì were way overpriced (€ 2,50 a piece!) and the bucatini all'amatriciana were too heavy... The pizza was decent but don't... More

We weren't sure the restaurant was open when we turned up at 7 (despite the advertised opening hours) as it seemed very quiet. It turned out that is because because the locals eat much later and sometimes a restaurant which looks deserted will actually be fully booked. This was the case here. There was space at the outside tables (very... More
