Nice building and little gems on the street

It is a street with lots of bistro. The surrounding is awesome and cozy. It is a good place to take a little rest when you are exhausted after a walk and queue in Vatican. Nicely decorated and also served good drinks and food. Have a good rest. Just that it does not take credit card.

This was exactly what we wanted after a long morning of walking around the Vatican. We shared pizza and a salad with beers and it was delicious!

Great place to eat near the Vatican. I highly recommend the Carbonara & Tiramisu - both delicious. Service was friendly & efficient.

The front patio is what got us to choose this place, and in fact the patio was the only thing that we liked about this restaurant. My father (who took the carbonara pasta) received his order maybe 10 minutes before the rest of us did... He wanted to be nice and wait for the rest of our meals but when... More

Went to this place after visiting the Vatican. Our tour guide suggested this street for lunch and we walked along until we came across this restaurant. Wasn't too busy, we were seated but it took some time to get even a bottle of water. Anyways, we ordered the bruschetta, the tomatoes were fresh and delicious, coming from Canada you can... More

Just taking a few minutes to give feedback on my lunch at this restaurant today. Chose the fettuccini porcini at 12 euros. Had to laugh when it came. Fettuccini plus one measly slice of mushroom on top and at most a teaspoon of juice to lubricate the pasta. Horrendous. As I ate it, because it had so little sauce it... More

Food is great. Service is terrible. At the end of our meal they told us they do not take cards. I had an incredible pasta carbonara and veal dish there so have to give it the 3 stars

This place is located at the nice neighbourhood. The prices are average; they bring the food pretty quickly and it takes much more time to bring the check. The food is not remarkable. You can stop here if you don't have other options

Came across this place near the Vatican and, even though the restaurant got quite busy, had a very relaxing lunch of Mussels in a delicious sauce and Pasta. Service was very good and the place seemed well run and had a good ambience.

I went this restaurant for a lunch with my family.. We ordered 2 pasta and 1 pizza each for 9 euros. For drinks we asked for two cola and 1 concantrated orange juice. We were charged 45.60. When I checked the bill, I realized They charged us 6 euros for small bottle concantrated juice. %4 service fee was extra. Portions... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighborhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighborhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
