What a wonderful dinner!

Read the reviews on trip advisor and wanted to try a restaurant close to our hotel, the Exedra Boscolo in Rome. We weren't disappointed. Good, fresh food that was reasonably priced and and full of flavour. Our waiter Fabrizio was exceptional. Worth the walk from our hotel!

This place is great! The atmosphere is nice, you can see that the waiters are all friends and enjoy what they're doing. Pizza was amazing; will definitely need to go to try their pasta flambe! Definitely make a booking; even if it's only a few hours ago. We did book and still waited 20 mins to get a table -... More

This place is great. Lovely food at good prices and friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed it so much we went back a 2nd time and when we walked in we were greeted by our waiter from the 1st visit like we were old family members.

The food was great and the staff was delightful. I had the pasta flambe special of the house and it was wonderful.

The pasta was prepared in front of us, it had a great taste (bucatini all'amatriciana & saltimbocca alla Romana) and the staff was very friendly.

Amazing and well served food in a busy ( and thereby noisy at times) place. We found it on trip advisor and all pictures got us starving...food was even better than it looked. We' re still in Rome for a couple of days and decided to go back the day after tomorrow to taste other dishes. A place to recommend

We stumbled upon this place and boy were we glad we did! Busy place but great food, service and prices. After eating dinner on the first night we all agreed to return the next night the food was so good. Nice Atmosphere too, a little noisy but that's to be expected with a place that is so busy! Service was... More

Price first. Fantastic. Most helpful waiter told us to scrap the starter as we had over ordered. Splendid. So we had the rice balls. Lovely. The white wine ( 3.50 for half a carafe !) and Birra Moretti (4e) bargain. Food was great wholesome and hearty. Saltimbocca for 12 e and spaghetti around 9/10 euro same for lamb Excellent value.... Delicious carbonara. Good service and a classical family run trattoria. Try a mixture of recommended items. Specialty of pasta flambe was good, as was the gnocchi.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
