We ran into this place without a reservation as the heavens opened above us one lunchtime and were lucky enough to secure a table downstairs (the place filled up quickly). Fantastic fettucini with porcini mushrooms and black truffle, and a delicious linguini with white truffle as well. The wine recommended was perfectly matched to the flavours of the food. One... More

A wonderful restaurant. Specializes in truffles and offers many dishes that include them. Great atmosphere, very tasty dishes and inexpensive. Highly recommended. Reservations must be made in advance.

Located a few minutes up a small road leading up to the top of the Spanish Steps from the fountain at Barberini, this was rated very highly on TripAdvisor. My first attempt to dine there was unsuccessful as it was fully booked (it’s not a particularly large restaurant), so I booked in for another day. The specialty of the restaurant... More

Simply the best !!! I ve eaten all over the world and this restaurant has got yo be in my top 2. We went for my girlfriends birthday and the staff could not of been better. They advised us on dishes to have. We already knew what to have TRUFFLE!!, home made pasta and truffle, fantastic is the only word... More

This place is hard to get into, and you'll understand why after going. Reservation several days in advance is necessary. It is a small restaurant, great service and WONDERFUL food focused on truffles. Everything is so good and the prices are really reasonable. The steak with truffles was delicious and it is really hard to find a decent, tender steak... More

We were on honeymoon and near this little small restaurant, went there without reservation, denied, did a reservation for the next day. Oh was it good to wait. Staff was very friendly , even the owner came to give his suggestion. We had a bruschetta with thruffle, and pasta with truffle with a delicious white wine. Must go in Rome... More

We enjoyed our meal, but some of the food on the main menu is sub-par, such as frozen shrimp straight from the super market. The antipasti were O.K. but small, and the pasta dishes were very good. The tuna entree was fishy, but seafood is not their specialty, so it should be avoided. The wait staff are terrific, but the... More

We wanted to return the minute we finished our meal, not because we were hungry (we weren't) but because it was that good. Informal, down to earth, solid osteria with simple great ingredients prepared with the knowledge of what each one brings to the plate. The truffle menu adds so much to this place. It elevates into the special category... More

Having trolled through loads of different restaurant reviews on trip advisor for my husbands surprise birthday meal in Rome, I came across this one. I booked by email as we were flying into Rome on the Wednesday and my husbands birthday was the Thursday and didn't want to leave it last minute. The restaurant emailed back straight away and made... My wife and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary dinner here. We went all out an antipasti, primi and secondi, along with some wine. Many of the dishes here are truffle oriented and unbelievably rich and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in the north part of Rome. Our hotel was near the Spanish Steps. The... More
