During the short time that we spent in Rome we only went to 3 restaurants and this one was the best of the three. It is close to one of the most popular attractions in Rome - Trevi Fountain. Pizza ("forno a legna"), fetuchini and especialmente ravioli with spinach and cheese were just wonderful! But wine was quite simple, tiramisu... More

We were 4 nights in Rome and visited this place twice. The dishes we ordered were very tasty, the staff was very friendly. Its a great place for simple and good Italian food.

Visited here early on a Sunday evening. Chose a two course tourist menu for €18 that also included a glass of house wine. Meal was good, but the waiter (and he seemed to be the only one in this tiny restaurant) was superb. He spoke excellent English, and readily engaged with all the diners. If only all waiters could be... More

The Tripadvisor reviews for Piccolo Buco say it all. This is a small restaurant a few steps away from Trevi Fountain on the strangely named Via del Lavatore! The dining areas are small with quite tightly spaced tables at the front and rear and where we sat we were almost uncomfortably close to the people behind us and unfortunately located... More

This is a little restaurant, but the prices and food were fantastic. The prices were very moderate, but I got more food than in any other place I at in Rome. The calzone along with the prosciutto and melon were delicious. I stuffed myself for less than 20 euros. I will definitely go back to this place during my next... More

This place is nestled just off the trevi fountain and is not what you would expect in the location. Is reasonably priced and the staff very friendly. The chef even came out to ask how good his pizzas were. Excellent by the way! Stay away from the tourist traps and come here instead!

Me and my wife enjoyed a great meal at this restaurant. The pizza and the Arabiatta pasta were great. The staff was also very kind and helpful and went out of their way to guide us on were we should visit and how to find our way. I certainly recommend this place :)

Outstanding family run restaurant. GOOD portions reasonable prices. Most restaurants have about 4-5 courses all individually prices or have fixed price menus. If you order individually in most place you get small portions not a meal. NOT here a pasta dish is a full dish and all are delicious Was in Rome 5 nights ate here twice probably would have... More
