Piccolo Buco was a recommendation from someone we met in Florence, while on tour. A small group of us sought it out and tried it on one of our free evenings. I cannot say enough good things about the friendly staff and excellent food. I will eat here any and all chances I have, in the future!

We have come there after reading TA reviews and it didn't disappoint us. The pizzas were excellent. House wine was good too. Tiramisu was simply great. The prices are slightly higher than average (pizzas cost 12-13 euros).

Ate here 2 times! Fantastic staff, good food and wine. Ask for the home made Crema di Limincello, you won´t be disappointed. We were there on a slow day, I heard the waiter talking to a friend for about half an hour - all about food! There was passion in that conversation. Unluckily they will be closed for renovation until... More

This place might not look like the best food in town but you should definitely try it! I had the homemade ravioli with the 4 cheese sauce and if you like Gorgonzola this is the BEST balanced and flavorful dish by far, my fiancé got the cappricoecia pizza with olives, ham, artichokes, egg, and salami. It was great. Bread is... More

These guys were the best waiters we met during our visit. Very funny and friendly. The food was very good and well priced. The only downside was the restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere.

Friendly restaurant with the best food! We ate here three nights, sampling pasta and pizza. This felt typically Italian to us--small, crowded, the owner on site waiting on tables. The food was incredibly fresh. I really can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

The waiters where friendly and kind. But the food was okay. Nothing special. Price is good. You can sit outside. They use heaters. Nearby the Trevi fontijn.

We had dinner here our first night in Rome. The pizza was very good and the pasta was very light and flavorful. We even had an Italian lesson from our waiter!! Very reasonable price.

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
