Went for lunch so we just shared an antipasto and then shared 2 plates of pasta. The antipasto was overpriced and left much to be desired. €6 for some slices of coppa, a couple of olives and some mashed potato with herbs. Pasta was good and portions were ok. Shared rigatoni alla Grica (carbonara without the raw egg) and bucatini... More

This is a complete locals place, hidden off of the beaten course we only found this as we met some Italian friends. The food was sensational especially the carbonara and cacio e pepe. The food was so simple but cooked to perfection. The chef came out and spoke to the table and I got the feeling this is a restaurant... More

We ate at this restaurant a couple of years ago and because it was so good, we decided to eat here, again, on this trip. The food was just as good as we remembered, but the service was lacking this time. Have your hotel make the reservation. I emailed this restaurant three times prior to our trip with no response.... This was a lovely little restaurant in Rome. The food is simple but delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Best dinner we had in Rome during our five-day-stay. Traditional Roman dishes! Delicious pasta! A family-run restaurant, with the father in the kitchen and the two sons in the restaurant that was filled with locals. Very friendly service, we had a nice talk with one of the sons. You may have to search a while but it's worth that. Prices... More

We were given this restaurant from the front desk staff at our hotel. He stated "This is where I go to eat". This place was just plain great. It's down a side street and away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. It's a family run with the father in the kitchen, his sons working the front of the house... More

Perfect pasta. Perfectly al dente. Fantastic sauces. Great service. Old school Roman food at its best!

we were recommended this restaurant by a the manager of a nearby shop (who walked us down the road to make sure we found it). We were able to get a table outside and as it was a beautiful Roman day that was appreciated. the food was excellent and the wine of the house was lovely. the pricing of both... More

We happened to stumble into this restaurant as we were looking for a dinner option on our first night in Rome. What enticed us inside was that the place was quite simple, even ascetic in décor and the quests of the restaurant seemed to mostly consist of locals, not Italian tourists but actual Romans (yeah, how do you really tell... So we decided to book a number of our meals in Rome before we left Canada. Trattoria Lilli was the toughest of the bunch (we were in Rome for a week). I tried emailing them twice. No answer. BTW my emails were in Italian. The I tried FB messaging them from their FB page. Success - a reply was received... More
