traditional family run "trattoria" with good selection of local food and nice atmosphere. Try different kind of pasta they have and you'll be for sure satisfied. Also main courses are good and from local tradition. For sure good value for money

On a recent visit to Rome we had dinner here and enjoyed it very much, returning a couple of days later for a second visit. The food is very good, traditional, honest fare, and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I'd recommend it.

We ate here based on its rating as one of the top 5 restaurants not to miss in Rome in the Rough Guide to Italy and ended up quite puzzled. We were quite happy with the limited menu with, to be fair, some more unusual sounding plati secundo dishes (including "lambs innards" and tripe). As a vegetarian I can confirm... More

My husband tried carbonara for the first time here, and loved it. I had the ravioli with sage and it was delicious. I tried the chocolate dessert, light and luscious and the whipped cream was out of this world.

We sought this trattoria out as the guide books said it was very good. They also said the service was ‘direct’. Maybe ‘rude’ would be a better description. We ordered two antipastas which were extremely disappointing. Four slices of cold ham, six black olives, I would guess directly from a jar, and a dollop of warm mashed potato with lardons... More

Some things very Roman, and very nicely done--like coratella di agnello, which is hard to find any more (lamb innards, chopped sort of like gizzards), fixed like fegato alla veneziana. Fresh vegetable side dishes (e.g, cicoria), and perfectly fixed ravioli with spinach and cheese filling, and sage scattered across the white sauce. Tucked away in a lower part of the... More

Great restaurant with warm friendly people who are very helpful. The place was packed which is always a good sign. The pasta was very good. I had the fried meatballs. They were good but a little bland for me and flat like a hamburger pattie. Everything was fresh and I would go back. I liked that there were local kids... More

Went for lunch so we just shared an antipasto and then shared 2 plates of pasta. The antipasto was overpriced and left much to be desired. €6 for some slices of coppa, a couple of olives and some mashed potato with herbs. Pasta was good and portions were ok. Shared rigatoni alla Grica (carbonara without the raw egg) and bucatini... More

This is a complete locals place, hidden off of the beaten course we only found this as we met some Italian friends. The food was sensational especially the carbonara and cacio e pepe. The food was so simple but cooked to perfection. The chef came out and spoke to the table and I got the feeling this is a restaurant... More

We ate at this restaurant a couple of years ago and because it was so good, we decided to eat here, again, on this trip. The food was just as good as we remembered, but the service was lacking this time. Have your hotel make the reservation. I emailed this restaurant three times prior to our trip with no response....
