This is a bar thats worthy of a watering hole in Ireland - but Roman. A great meeting place to chat with nationalities from all over the world. The owner os a great character.

For all things Pittsburgh sports and just a great bar in general, go here!! It's right near Piazza Navona with lots to do in the area. The owner is great and we can't wait to go back soon!!

"The Steeler's Bar!" Lynn Swan was here last week. I've been coming here for years and love having a cold one here. Trust an airline pilot who can go anywhere and comes here every week because it's very good. Tell Giovanni Ed Sent you.

When we heard that there was a Steeler Bar in Rome, we just had to stop in. What an experience! Giovanni was a great host! He showed us photos of people who have visited, including Lynn Swan who we missed seeing by just a few hours. This is a great place to hang out and have a drink!

Our last time in Rome, we made it a point to find La Botticella. Its just off the Piazza Noverna. Not the biggest place to visit. Has outside seating if you are going to eat there. The owner is always glad to see someone from his old hometown. (PITTSBURGH) . Has a lot of pennants hanging on the walls. Mostly... More

We're from Pittsburgh and had heard about this bar but had a hard time finding it. A very rude waiter told us that "it wasn't open anymore," which was obviously untrue. We hit up some wifi and found the address and found it right off of Piazza Nuvona after wandering aimlessly for a few minutes. We probably walked past it... More

This bar is fun, full of Pittsburgh visitors and ex pats. Prices are good, with a better beer selection than you will find elsewhere in Rome.

We came to see Steeler nation in Rome, and left with Giovanni's infectious sense of cheer. The first try, it wasn't yet open, and we discovered it as a hole in the wall metal industrial door. The next day, we found a quaint watering hole with its tables and umbrellas spilling out onto the charming street, and, of course, Giovanni.... More

Take the time to find this place! Great atmosphere, cold beer and the most welcoming host. This is what a neighborhood bar should be. They have a good beer selection as well as a nicely stocked bar. You'll find all sorts of people to chat with or just enjoy some good people watching. I'd love to be there for a... More

Giovanni made us feel right at home in his "proper" bar. He even serves peanuts with his beer just like in the States. Also had one of the best glasses of Moscato in Rome. Like his bar, Giovanni, with his perfect English, is warm and welcoming. Ask him for eating recommendations. Don't eat at the restaurants that are on the... More
