"When in Rome"... I hang out here.

I am in Rome about 6-10 times a year. This is a favorite hangout for wine, before heading off to dinner. Giovanni can even recommend some places for dinner if you don't have a place in mind. Big screen TVs are always tuned to American sports. Ask to buy a Rome Steelers T-shirt. They're in the back... read more

Friends of ours told us about the bar before we left for Rome. On our first night we found it...after getting lost a few times. Giovanni was so friendly! There were a few other couples from Pittsburgh (where we live) and Giovanni sat with us and replayed the Steeler game from the night before! We loved seeing all the Pittsburgh... More

I came here (tonight actually) as a solo female traveler and was not disappointed! It came highly recommended from everyone I know in Pittsburgh who has been to Roma. Giovanni was welcoming and it was the perfect taste of home- all sorts of Pittsburgh college banners and Steelers gear on the walls. Made friends with an English couple- everyone in... More

I would like to preface this by saying I am a Patriots fan and this is a Steelers bar. However, I had the best night of my two week trip to Rome at this place. The owner and bartender was great to talk with and the service was impeccable. In addition, the beers were all local to Italy and the... More

Nice bar, good variety of beer, wine and liquor. Decent prices. Located in a really good area of Rome. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff. If you're in Rome and trying to watch American sports this is the place for you.

This has become one of our favourite spots in Rome and we can't wait to return! Great atmosphere, great music and Simone makes great drinks - her negronis are amazing! Giovanni stocks a wide range of craft beers in the fridge and he has some delicious Italian beers on tap. Both Giovanni and Simone are so warm and welcoming that... More

This bar has several names. I call it "Giovanni's" because Giovanni owns and operates it. Some call it "The Steeler Bar" because Giovanni is a Pittsburgh Steeler fan.. (la Botticella Steeler T-shirts and Terrible Towels are available). The atmosphere is great and the drinks are reasonably priced. Sporting events are streamed occasionally. It's a fun bar in the heart of... More

We come here as often as we can to watch Steelers games. I always make new friends to swap travel stories with or reminisce on Pennsylvania living. Bar staff is great, variety of beers, cocktails, and wine. A lively place in the heart of Rome to make you feel at home!
