We've visited this ristorante three times over fifteen years and remember each meal as being perfect. This is a true ristorante, not a pizza place. Each time we experienced elegant dining with perfect presentation in a beautifully decorated room. The seafood selection is broad and delectable. I especially recommend the sea bass baked in a salt crust. They accept reservations,... More

Bring an appetite. This is the real deal. In Rome there are thousands of restaurants, most over-priced and bad. This is pricey but excellent. The fresh fish, in the Sardinian tradition, is excellent. The antipasti are endless and they comprise mainly raw fish. This accompanied with a really good Vermentino white is enough reason to go there. I love the... More

Just a few minutes taxi ride from the main tourist areas. Very nicely presented restaurant with great service. Seafood here is very good. A wide choice of seafood, very fresh and excellently prepared. Seabass and baby octopus both outstanding.

This is a Sardenian seafood restaurant and it's excellent. A friend of ours from Rome recommended that we go there and ask the waiters what we should order. We did that and it was excellent. The raw fish plate was our favorite. The Sardenian house wine was also very nice. We are still in Rome and we might go back... More

Eleonora d'Arborea is a must visit when I'm in Rome. What else is there to say: the food and service are fantastic and what one hopes for when dining out. If you can't find what you like on the menu speak to Francesco and he'll create something that you will long remember. The service is top notch and one of... More

I liked the atmosphere. The service was good and the food was great. There was a prepared menu, which contained a bit too much raw fish for me, but what do you expect from a fish restaurant.

The place is not really visible, this is the kind of restaurant you don't go by chance, you need to know the place and have directions to get there. Parking is really a challenge so driving is discouraged, take a taxi, in the past the restaurant had an agreement with a private parking lot nearby, but it seems the agreement... More

I would not wish to repeat myself but my previous reviews of this exceptional ristorante cannot say everything about how good it is.I looked round at a place that was buzzing with people, every table full- mostly with Italians- everybody talking and everybody smiling while obviously enjoying the food and the ambience. There was Francesco, the proprietario; chatting to a... More

Every time I am in Rome I make it a point to return here. I can count on a great meal, wonderful service and a lovely atmosphere. Read my other reviews for details. Well worth the effort to get outside the center of Rome for meals here!
