I'm a regular customer (local, not tourist) of this amazing restaurant. Classy atmosphere, professional and caring service, top quality Sardinian food, good choice of wines (I advise the Fontana Liras Vermentino). Let the staff guide you through the refined menu. Make sure not to miss the "crudi". And end with the Sardinian bisquits with morto, limoncello or grappa (or all... More

Service was excellent and the food rich but delicious. Not good if you are counting calories! Book just to be sure of a table

In my opinion Rome is not the best location where to find a restaurant serving amazing fish and seafood however if you are looking for this kind of meal this place may be a nice surprise. As soon as we were accommodated in our table, outdoor being the weather still great, we were given a glass of prosecco, an Italian... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we went there two nights running. The menu was very varied, mostly fish but with some meat and pasta dishes. We all had fish starters and mains and it was all wonderful and cooked to perfection. The best part of the evening was the after dinner freebies. It was medium priced and... More

This restaurant was a short walk from our hotel. We arrived just before it opened at 8pm on a Wednesday night without a reservation but were quickly escorted in and shown to a table. This was our first night in Italy. We didn't realize that dinner in Italy is a much later affair than in North America. The restaurant quickly... More

We had a variety of Seafood dishes as starter, both raw, marinated and steamed. Being from Norway we are demanding re Seafood, and this fulfilled expectations. Main dish was salt baked sea bass, our Mediterrean favorite, and the serving maintained the status. However, disappointing that the salt was removed before serving. Good selection of wine, friendly staff, owner present -... More

I liked the atmosphere. The service was good and the food was great. There was a prepared menu, which contained a bit too much raw fish for me, but what do you expect from a fish restaurant.

We ate here our first night in Rome. EVERYTHING (and I do mean the whole thing!) was fantastic. One of the more memorable meals my father and I have had anywhere in the world. The staff is very pleasant and attentive and speaks good english for those of us who are not well versed in Italiano. Pretty much everything on... More

This little gem was within easy walking distance from our hotel, so we ate here 2 nights out of 3, and enjoyed every minute. You will be greeted by complementary glass of bubbly and a nice flatbread bruschetta . Seafood is the main thing here-- highly recommend the salt crust seabass. The wine list has a big selection of Sardinian... More

I spent 3 nights in Rome and I must say that I found Italian cuisine unamusing in general. But through the hotel's staff recommendation, I gave Ristorante Eleonara a try for tonight's dinner. The rest was history. The service was excellent. I had my fair share of dining experiences with Michelin star restaurants from Yountville, California (TFL) to Paris (Joel... More
