My husband and I visited Frigidarium having read the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! I had amaretto, after eight and banana flavour ice cream, dipped in melted white chocolate. It was to die for! At 4 euros, it's a bargain! We sat on a bench outside the shop to enjoy our ice-creams. There was quite a queue,... More

without arrogance i am becoming slowly but surely an expert in ice creams... there might be a few places a very small fraction better like momo gelato in rio de janeiro or amorino in paris and around spain but for 4 € the largest size with panna, frigidarium leads the quality/price contest

I tasted many gelatos in Rome. This is the top one, regarded quality, taste, flavours, service and price. I also had my conο dipped in white melted chocolate each time!!! (no extra charge) I had gelato at this place 3 times during a week in Rome, so I tasted many different flavours, all good.

the selection was phenomenal, the cost was reasonable and the taste was spectacular! We went back three times.... although there was always a line up, the staff handled the crowds very well and we didn't have to wait too long.

I've been living in Rome for four months, and this gelato has been my life since I discovered it. You honestly cannot go to Rome without trying it. Get it dipped in chocolate otherwise you're missing out, and I highly recommend the Frigidarium flavor (it's basically cookies and cake batter)

Kids and adults loved the different flavors, much better than some of the other places in Rome. If near Panthaneum, this is a good choice.

We had it twice. I love the Bacio flavor with a lot of crushed nuts.. Not sure what kind of nuts.. Min E2, you get two big scoop. I accidentally drop my cone on the floor, the friendly staff replaced another cone for me FOC. And not because of this that I submit a good review but because the gelato... More

I knew when I came to Rome that trying gelato was a must. The day before we went to a gelateria near the coliseum which we both thought was fantastic! Little did we know that this would surpass that and leave such a sweet taste in our mouth as we departed Rome for home. The choice of flavours was diverse... More
