My kids absolutely loved this gelato place and voted this the best in rome,I have to agree.you get extremely creamy great tasting ice cream, wonderful flavours, good value for money, for 2 euro, can get 2 scoops in a single cone, you won't find a better deal.it is located near piazza navona in a quiet street, though far away,we went bk another day for seconds.

So many people walked past with icecream we had to go in! Friendly staff and reasonably priced. We had 2 scoops plus chocolate on top for €3. All the flavours were incredible. So much so that after trying somewhere else which didn't compare we visited this place every day for the remainder of our trip!

Great and big ice creams, that you can mix flavours and have free cream and cookies. Its is located in a street not so full of turists.

We had gelato here. We got mango, lemon, Frigedaria (most popular), and stracciatella. All the flavors were excellent. I liked their house special the best. Kind of tasted like butterfinger but without the sweetness. The gelato was very smooth and not overly sweet. I would recommend this place over Ai Tre Tartufi. I would definitely come here again. VERY limited... More

Forget the other gelato places. We tried the #1 ranked and it doesn't compare to the freshness, taste and variety of flavors. It is also a great value for the amount of servings you get. My favorite was their home made brand "frigidarium". Yum! Expect long lines but it moves very quickly. The servers are friendly and helpful in explaining... More

I was suggested having the frozen yogurt with Nutella and it was gorgeous. My husband has the magnificent mango gelato and it was like having an actual juicy cold mango. It was heaven! Happy we stumbled across this lil place :-) after the heat of the walk down St. Peter's basilica and the Sistine chapel.

I don't get the high reviews on various sites for this gelato place. Both of our gelatos (4 flavors between the 2 of us) were nothing great at all. Unfortunately I've had much better gelato and a favorite place back in the States!

Some of the nicest, creamiest ice cream that I have eaten in Rome, so make sure you're hungry. There are about 30 flavours (mainly chocolatey) and you have the option of having whipped cream and/or melted chocolate on top. The queue is always pretty long, but it's worth the wait as locals and tourists flock from all over Rome to... More

I'm so glad that we stumbled across Frigidarium and decided to wait in the long line. This was definitely my favorite gelato shop in Rome. Original and classic flavors, and low prices for the amount of gelato that you get. Delicious!
