Best icecream in Rome. Nay, the world

Just, the best ice-cream we've ever tasted until now. For a really low price, you get a too good of an ice-cream, dipped in chocolate (that hardens on the ice-cream). The hype is real, don't miss this place. The dude who served us was really nice and insisted that we'd dip the ice-cream in his... read more

My wife and I walked past this gelateria on the way back to our hotel and I noticed a line. It seemed odd that this one had a line and the other gelaterias in the area did not. I looked it up when we got back to the room and the reviews were glowing...so we decided to try it later... More

By our count, there are rouhly 5,647 gelato shops in central Rome. We were told that this was the best. We haven't tried all of the remaining 5,646 but, we likely don't have to: this was excellent gelato. Seemed to be crafted with genuine passion using quality ingredients.

Let me tell you I've been to this place a few times already and nowhere in the world have I had better gelato than here! The selection isn't as huge as other places but the quality will blow your mind. Of course, this isn't a secret anymore and generally speaking you can always expect a line! Last time we went... My wife and me found this icecream parlour by coincidence on our way to the piazza Navona. As it was still off the main tourist sites we gave it a try. What shall I say: Great variety and the pistacchio icecream was delicious! Highly recommendable!

Great flavours, reasonable prices. Worth the queue. Almost always a crowd of locals & well-informed tourists.

Frigidarium is different than any gelato I've ever had. If the gale to isn't rich enough, you can get it dipped in chocolate! I got the small size and it was more than enough and only cost €2,50. This place definitely knows how to make gelato.

Stopped here on our last night in Rome - asked for a small cone and was given a huge 2 scooped beauty topped with a choice of chocolate or cream! All this for the princely sum of €2!! Amazing value and delicious ice cream with a large range of flavours

A double scoop Baileys and chocolate is all you need when here. Yum doesn't do justice to that Gelato!
