This is an excelent place to have, in my opinion, one of the best gelati in Rome! It is a place to come back every time you visit the city.

Very good gelati, 30+ flavoiurs, generous servings starting from 2 euro. First time, I made the mistake of asking for a medio with caffe and banana with pieces in it. After that, I ordered the piccolo, which was still large by other standards. I did check out another gelateria in Trastevere which has a slightly higher TA rating, but it... More

In my opinion one of the best Gelaterias in Rome, as wear as great value for money. I went for four scoops, got a cookie stuck in the top and it covered in dark chocolate sauce, all for €4, money well spent.

We came here after being recommended from a local tavern owner and seeing the reviews on tripadvisor. We had gelato everyday on our trip and sometimes several times in a day due to the kids, so I was gelatoed out! At first it was a little hard to find because it is small, but all you have to do is... This place came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint! Many delicious flavors and friendly service. Unfortunately (:-) it was right across from our apartment, so we found ourselves there three times over three days. No inside seating, only a couple benches outside.

In a three day trip to Rome I visited everyday! The man running the place was very passionate about his product. And even stayed open late on one occasion to serve me. The gelato was of a great creamy texture. Highly recommended.

Some of the best Gelato we had in Rome. Locally made. Large selection. Found by accident wandering around. Would eat here again.

I'd still take Giolitti (banana gelato!) and Old Bridge (pistachio and ricotta gelato!) over this. But it's Rome, go get all of them! Getting your fix of gelato is probably the most crucial thing to do in Rome! This is pretty close to Piazza Navona, so make sure to frequent it in the process. Of course, there's no reason to... Sure, the icecream is great, with original flavours, but I would like to be served with a smile and a minimum of courtesy. Is that so hard to get? Does smiling make your face hurt?

We just returned from a two week trip to Italy. We ate gelato...EVERY SINGLE DAY. Sometimes, twice a day. We tried several different places but this is by far the favorite of our family of four. The gelato EXCELLENT, made with all natural ingredients, and Frigidarium offers such a nice variety of flavors that we did not find anywhere else.... More
