Perfect food home made and very tasty. Large portions. 😄 prices are a little high - and it's worth it. Warm recommendation.

Great food!!! Everything we are was delicious, and the service is impeccable. The waiters are all great and Daniel was awesome. They also all speak enough English which is always helpful around Rome. We ate pizza for lunch one day and T-bone steaks (for 2) for dinner another night. The steak was outstanding and very tender. Right near the pantheon... More

We spent 6 days in Rome and could not have had a better experience than we had at "er Faciolaro"! The food was by far the best and the service was superb. We enjoyed it so much that we had lunch and dinner twice. We were a group of 5 and tried the soups, appetizers, pizza, pasta, beef and fish.... More

On a Very busy street Oreos close to Pantheon. Typical Roman way a waiter succeed to sit on outside table and brought a halfglass of bulk Spumante before we even saw the menu. No frozen pizzas but my calzone was dry and gad no taste at all. Sirloin steak was greasy and had oven baked potatoes with it, so why... More

Very close to the Pantheon.Food was good. I had the Spaghetti alla bolognese. Service was prompt and the waiter was friendly and spoke English. The bill was typical of the restaurants in Rome and over priced. A nice touch was that we were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco!

Very accommodating staff, impromptu visit and had a table for nine ready like that. Tony and Dany went above and beyond the expected to make this dinner truly exceptional. It was also our 2 daughters birthdays... These guys had the whole street singing happy birthday to these two girls who were delighted to celebrate their tenth birthday in Roma! Thanks... More

A typical tourist trap: if you can't even get "penne all'arrabbiata" right or even close to what it should normally look and taste like, forget it. Do so.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
