Nice steak

We were on the hunt for dinner and stumbled across this lane of restaurants. This place def has the bigger presence and the food just looked better. Busy with foot traffic and sellers but added to atmosphere. We were craving steak after days of salads, pizza and pasta and they did a good job that... read more

Travelling with a large party need not be a Robles in Rome if you are prepared to eat early. This restaurant rightly gets busy as the evening progresses to plan to eat early to avoid disappointment. The staff are all attentive, friend,y and professional. As one of a party of 11 there was no dilution of personal service or attention... More

having done the tourist seats in Navona and rotunda, we ventured slightly off track and were tempted in by the very friendly waiters. I know they also do it in Rome, but there was something pleasant and enjoyable about how they enticed us in. Boy am I glad they did, food was fantastic, lots of choice of meat dishes and... More

My family and I vacationed in Rome, Italy recently. We stayed in Rome for six nights and tried numerous restaurants. The one constant that we noticed was that the majority of the restaurant employees did not seem like they actually enjoyed being at work. That all changed however, when we were walking from the Pantheon and Danny, the manager, convinced... More

We had wandered the streets near the Pantheon looking for great food. Danny convinced us to come in the restaurant and gave us champagne. The food was great and the staff was warm and welcoming. After dinner, we were given limoncello and sent happily on our way. It was our last night in Rome, otherwise we would have returned. Stop... More

Stopped here for lunch on our first day in Rome....food was amazing and service was fabulous. All the staff were so wonderful we ate here every day either for lunch or dinner. I can't thank Tony Beko Daniel and the rest of the team for making our holiday so special. Attentive staff with wonderful authentic Italian cuisine. Pizza cooked in... More

On our 1st day in Roma we can across el Faciolaro, and what a find it was. The staff are fun , having banter with customers and ladders by alike. The risotto was beautiful, the pizza lovely (especially the Parma ham, and the lasagne was absolutely top class. Great place, good price, don't miss it.

My daughter discovered this restaurant last year on a trip to Rome so we headed straight here for lunch after arriving at lunchtime as it was close to where we were staying. She instantly recognised the lovely girl in the top hat! Lovely, inviting, rustic and authentic Italian, everything you could wish for-fantastic food (my fettuccine fungi porcini was amazing!)... Many thanks to the staff here. A very hard working team focused On the customer. They make every effort to get you seated and its well worth it even if you do feel a little forced. My sister and I took my mother to Rome for her 60th birthday. Our last evening was spent here. Danny and the rest made... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
