Good pasta

Very good pasta "Cacio e pepe" and "Carbonara". This is one of the cheapest restaurant in the city center and I will come back as soon as possible.

Our family of six sat for lunch after visiting the Parthenon and had our best experience in Rome. The outdoor seating provided a great vantage point to people watch, the food was delicious, and the service made us feel like family. er Faciolaro is located on the walk between Trevi Fountain and the Parthenon. As we glanced over the menu... More

Great place for lunch after Pantheon! Amidst the sea of people trying to get you to eat at their restaurants, we thought the food at this place looked the best We were glad we stopped! We had an unbelievable mushroom and Gorgonzola pizza and a dish of mussels and clams that were fantastic! They served on the house limoncello after... More

My husband and I dined there last night and had the best meal we've had since landing in Rome 4 days ago. Typical among the outside eateries at first glance, but the food was far superior to anything we had eaten. Daniel scored us a table outside and welcome us with a glass of Prosecco. By the end of the... More

This "Little Gem" is located on a side street near the Pantheon. We had notice it as we walked by in the afternoon, they had very appetizing beef hanging in the window. We returned that evening and were treated to one of the best steaks we'd ever had. Their porterhouse for two rivaled anything I've had in Chicago, New York... More

We ate here twice for supper while in Rome for 4 days. We were enticed to stop by Beki, who appeared to be the host. The first night I had lasagna and my wife had fettuccini with mussels. I have eaten Penn cove mussels in Seattle, and these were in my opinion better. Not rubber band like at all. Second... More

I have to admit, I typically try to stay away from tourist restaurants that are lumped together near tourist attractions (in this case the Pantheon) but sometimes there may be a number of factors that make choosing one of these imperative (hungry wife). The two reasons we choose this place were 1) the trip advisor rating in the window 2)... More

Do not eat in this restaurant. My husband and I went there and were shocked and appalled with what we witnessed. Whilst dining, a young waiter was flirting with all the young American travelling girls, kissing them in front of us etc and then he took one of them and had sex with her in the customer toilets!! I know... More

What a treasure!! The food, atmosphere and service was second to none, we were staying at the Panthen Hotel and this restaurant was just below it always seemed busy and on our third night we were enticed in by Danny, from the moment we entered we were treated like family, we had the grilled fish and vegetables - delicious!! Our... More

Travelling with a large party need not be a Robles in Rome if you are prepared to eat early. This restaurant rightly gets busy as the evening progresses to plan to eat early to avoid disappointment. The staff are all attentive, friend,y and professional. As one of a party of 11 there was no dilution of personal service or attention... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
