Always difficult to reserve a table, always busy and too quick service. Food & wine all in best order. Parking a real problem, but the added walk will increase the appetite.

Testaccio as such is a real discovery and Felice is a place that delivered on the prmise of its name. Dropped in for a lunch and i was kucky to have a space (better to make reservation). The suggestions by the waiter were excellent and the atmosphere straightforward and nice. A discovery for me

We made a reservation for this restaurant as we were told it is always busy. When we arrived the restaurant was indeed very busy and the staff seemed under pressure. We had to wait some time before our order was taken by a waiter who was only interested in selling additonal items which we did not require. The food served... More

Felice is a very well-known restaurant, both by locals and visitors, so don't expect to just waltz in there without a reservation. The restaurant has a good list of Roman classics that are always served but it is the specials of the day - about a dozen different dishes for each day the restaurant is open - that allow you... Traditional place in the Testaccio area, famous for its Roman cuisine (carbonara, pajata, coda alla vaccinara). Restaurant is nice and clean, rather crowded, waiters are kind and helpful. The cacio e pepe (cheese and pepper) pasta is quite good even if a little too saucy. Wide selection of wines and desserts. Only thing, prices are relatively high for very simple... More

We had a great time on a end of summer saturday. The restaurant is typical and metropolitan at the same time, in the core of the real Rome. Waiters ate very friendly and have the time to chat despite the lots of people always there. Best cacio pepe and carbonnara I ever tried! Book before!

If you think is easy to cook a "cacio e pepe" you have to go to "Felice a testaccio". Just eat this cacio e pepe and try to do it at home... You will never say again "it's an easy dish".

I've left this review a little time so I could write a considered response to a restaurant that frankly I didn't much like. It's a busy place and there seems to be a culture of fawning to the waiters. Our party of 8 got menus but then our waiter indicated that we needed to choose from what he said rather... More
