We've been to the restaurant on several occassions. We discovered it a couple of years ago and have made it a point to come back here, simply for the artichokes as well as the Cacio e Pepe. Reservation is definitely recommended. The lack of English speaking staff is compensated by their efforts and warmth, though we did notice the same... More

Great wine, great pasta, great lamb main, but let down slightly by the beef roulade. Authentic Italian with few tourists - with only one waiter speaking English. Booking is essential and would highly recommend

First, you have to make a reservation. Real Roman cuisine, the best spaghetti cacio pepe and the best Tiramisu I have ever tasted. The carbonara is very good as well. Good service, the pasta is the special in this restaurant so do not try the main course with meat.

I was in Rome for several days mid December and made a point of visiting my personal favorite restaurant. Felice in Testaccio. The Maitre di gave me a look that said "Oh, you're here again". I was seated at a small table within minutes though the crowd was out of the door waiting. Such a lovely surprise, I was remembered.... More

Few restaurants have come more highly recommended than Da Felice in Testaccio. None have been less deserving of the enthusiasm. A smart and bustling diner in the trendy dining district of Testaccio, the restaurant filled up rapidly after we arrived at 19.30 and by the time we left people were being turned away and reservations were being scrutinised carefully. We... More

Felice A Testaccio has been in the same location since 1936, endured WWII and has been upgraded, but has the charm of the original restaurant. It is reservations only, but it is worth a phone call to make a reservation (PH: +39.06.5746800. All of the food is from local producers and has a wait staff that is better than I... More

Always difficult to reserve a table, always busy and too quick service. Food & wine all in best order. Parking a real problem, but the added walk will increase the appetite.
