Very good place to taste the typical Roman cuisine in one of the most characteristic area of the town. An informal atmosphere, good value for money, recommended!

This was the best meal I had in Rome, possibly ever. I had the Cacio e Pepe which is their signature Roman dish. It was unbelievable!!! I am not a huge pasta person, but I could eat this meal every day. I had the Lamb as well which was fantastic, but the pasta dish was out of this world. The... More

Definitely try their cacio e pepe, the way the waiter mixes it up for you table side is a bit gimmicky, but I thought it was a lot of fun and it tasted fabulous, definitely the best cacio e pepe I tried in Rome. All their other dishes were delicious as well. It's very obvious that the restaurant is a... More

To be honest, I am surprised by the disparity in the reviews here, but perhaps my ability to speak some Italian helped with addressing the wait staff, who were perfectly courteous to me as a middle-aged, solo traveler. I called and had to wait eight nights to get a reservation before 10 pm, so book early! Since I was in... More

Delicious, absolutely delicious. We were lucky to get a reservation, last minute on a weekend. It was packed but it didn't effect the service nor the food. We had the Lamb with Potatoes. The house specialty pasta, Caco e Pepe was prepared right at our table. That's what I had and I can attest it was really good! Other dishes... More

Tried Da Felice with my friends during our stay in Rome. I went because I was recommended by friends. The food was good, not great, the atmosphere ok, but the waiter needed a lesson in politeness. This is the first time ever, I have encountered such rudeness on the part of a waiter in any part of Europe. I might... More

The pasta dishes were very good, particularly the cacia e pepe, however the meat dishes were not up to the same standard (except for perhaps the oxtail). The " meatballs" were a real disappointment, and the side of peas and bacon must have been from a can. Would have been better off sticking to antipasto and pasta.

I am Italian, born and raised. This is good food. Period. Typical, authentic Roman dishes prepared the same way my grandma used to. It's noisy, it's crowded, service can be super slow, waiters have an "I don't really care" attitude, but there is a reason people keep going back. It's the food. And if you go, try the spaghetti cacio... More

We were a party of 8 and we felt like outsiders the moment we entered. We were shown to a table and a very creepy waiter began to recite the menu. When my daughter in law asked about menus he replied "I am the menu" and demanded our choices right away. Once we ordered we started to see other tables... More

Another great recommendation from a friend. This restaurant is located in a great neighbourhood, away from the typical touristy areas that seems to be the essence of Rome. Appeared to be a range of people dining including mostly locals or Italian families. Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals immensely. Just very well prepared food. The pasta dishes were delicious.... More
