We stumbled across this place just after Piazza Barberini, and the first thing we liked was that the waiter at the door just said hello as we passed, instead of trying loudly to manoeuvre us inside like lots of other restaurants. It's quite small, but it's very relaxed, and the staff are helpful. Best of all, the food was so... More

Found this place one night on our way back to our hotel after a long day of touring Rome. Our daughter is celiac so we needed to find gluten free options and they had plenty to accommodate her. To this day, she says that their spaghetti with clams was the best she had in Italy....and she had it about eight... More

We have our dinner here before visiting the Fontana di Trevi. We ordered two Risotto pescatora, one with white sauce the other with tomato sauce. However, the kitchen came back to us said that two Risotto pescatora with white or tomato source is easy to make and taste better, they would like us to make the change. I can’t believe... More

We went to this restaurant on the last night of our Rome trip. The restaurant advertised no service or other charge in the front window and as the menu looked varied so we gave it a try. Service was slow and unfriendly . Eventually, when the food arrived, the pasta was undercooked and tasteless, a big disappointment. The worst was... More

My partner and I planned to go to a restaurant before we set off from the hotel and instead ended up eating here on the off chance it was one of the most beautiful mistakes we have ever made! As we looked at the menu because I am an extremely fussy eater the wonderful (I think owner or at least... More

After a morning spent seeing the main monuments in Rome, we went here for a quick lunch. Not the best choice made. The service was unfriendly, slow, and the food less than average. The pasta, amatriciana - one of the characteristic Roman dishes, was absolutely plain (supermarket pasta with some sauce and a few cubes of pancetta). Moreover, downstairs there... More

On our final day in Rome and after a long day sightseeing, we decided to find a restaurant in the centre to eat in. We looked at several restaurants in the area and settled for this as it seemed to have the most vegetarian options for my girlfriend. The owner was very welcoming initially and invited us to sit at... More

We found this place while trying to get to Trevi Fountain. The male owner seemed friendly and invited us in. There was a strong unpleasant smell of fish in the restaurant. The bread seemed old and stale and there was Indian music playing in the background which seemed odd for an Italian restaurant. We felt like we were being watched... More
