We've been here three weeks and until last night have been looking for a good pizza to go. After all of that looking I found Taverna Le Coppella only 300 feet from our apartment. I ordered a Fungo (mushroom) pizza to go. It was ready in 6 minutes. This was the first thin crust pizza I've seen. It was big... More

This unassuming pizzeria with simple checked tablecloths is in the centre of the city just a few steps from the Pantheon. A simple margherita was 7 Euros and was the best. Thin base with a crispy, smoky taste from the wood-fired oven and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Bon appetite

We wanted a sit-down restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere and good food. This place suited us well. We ordered a salad and two appetizers for the table. I loved all of the fresh and grilled vegetables. We topped it off with a pizza and it was just right.

Red and white chequered table cloths with nice and simple pizzas and pastas. The waitresses were super friendly and bubbly. In a nice lane near the Pantheon it had a nice "hole in the wall" appearance although there was plenty of space inside.

Surely you may find better alternatives. But Le Coppelle would meet your needs if you are just tired, and want to rest while having a good meal at good price in a decent place, served with courtesy and attention, and get out satisfied enough for the ratio quality/convenient prices, in spite being very near to Piazza Navona , The four... Our tour guide took us to this place for lunch. The family all pasta and I had mushroom risotto. We had house wine, which was good. Overall a nice experience.

We had dinner here on our concierge's recommendation as a good pizza place. The starter bruschetti of asparagus paste and porcini paste were good. Our pizzas had good thin crispy bases and good toppings. All good on the food front, but the problem with this place is the number of tables they have greedily crammed in. We were OK at... More

I first visited Le Coppelle in 2011 and will keep visiting on every return to Rome. If you're a meat eater, I highly recommend their Barolo steak. It's out of this world.

Great restaurant with great staff, perfect treatment and outstanding food. Is a quite simple place but is a tipical Italian restaurant with the best of Italian cousine. Next time I go to Rome I'll absolutely sure come back.
