Amazing coffee

The place serves great cappuccino and espresso. There were a lot of locals, which is always a good sign in Rome. Must visit for any coffee lover.

went to the coffee shop everyday during our vacation in Rome. Not friendly to tourists but also never rude. Excellent coffee at 1,10 euros.

Best cappuccino in town. Traditional place, it makes justice for its fame. Also with very good price! Super well located and available

The price is not bad and the coffee is average quality but the waiters are so rude and bad mannered that steal any charm the place may have. There are plenty of other places to taste a good espresso. Absolutely not recommended.

We came to this place 4 times for one reason: the best cappuccino we ever had for just 1,10 €. Even though many tourists visit this place, also locals come to have a cup of coffee. If you want to experience the Italian way having a quick coffee, this is an easy way! Just pay your coffee at one counter... More

Another recommendation from Lonely Planet and as usual they were spot on. Definitely the best coffee in Rome and only steps from the Pantheon. Order and pay for your coffee at the till just around the corner from the main bar and then hand your receipt in to the barristas. If you are used to Starbucks prices you won't believe... More

I know from reading reviews that this is supposed to be something very special. I found it to be very good but nothing extraordinary. In fact I think it's just a very traditional coffee bar you find in many cities in Italy, France and Spain. Coffee is very good and worth a visit if you are near the pantheon -... More

Tazza D'Oro came highly recommended from our driver on our way to the hotel. He said it is the best coffee in Rome. So, naturally, we had to try it. It has a nice atmosphere and I had a cappuccino. It was very good and very reasonably priced. Being American, I am used to $4 coffees, so when my cappuccino... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
