I was in Rome a few times and every time the first place I go is Tazza Doro Cafe. They have the best coffee and the service is excellent. I am waiting for the next time I go to Rome to have some coffee there

Had a double espresso and came back for a cappuccino. Both excellent. After the disappointment with St. Eustachio's, it was very nice to see that this place comes up to expectations. The staff was super-nice too, another great change from the St. E. The coffee was roasted right and had honest rich crema - it was really smooth and tasted... More

The coffee is so smooth, not at all bitter. We've brought some home in the past and while not quite being as special away from the cafe, it's still a great cup of coffee. They have lots of fancy types but we stick with the cappuccino or the espresso. Both classics and well done here.

Rome is filled with excellent coffee and nice atmosphere but this is something different. Coffee roaster with long experience and it shows. The coffee is really smooth and balanced and i've never had espresso where crema is almost half of the cup and is like a lid for the liquid. I bought roasted beans to home and luckily I grabbed... When dedicated food artisans use the freshest of ingredients and prepare their fare by hand you have a wonderful product. I had the "granita" (frozen coffee) which was terrific. The smell of coffee in the air was delightful. The line was fairly long but moved quickly. Chain coffee shops have lost their appeal.

The legendary coffee shop is well worth a visit! Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee any way you like it, while deciding whether you want to take a bit of Blue Mountain back home with you.

How do I love Tazza D'Oro? Let me count the ways....I love the store front with its invitingly open doors and palm trees. I love the self-serve coffee bag vending machine out front, just in case they are closed when you need a fix at home. I love the smell of the coffee, wafting out onto the streets and drawing... More

A great treat on a warm summer day. It was recommended by our local tour guide. It did not disappoint. I look forward to getting back there some day.

This is one of the places to which I like to come back whenever I visit Rome. Cheap, tasty coffee for 90 cents. Do I need to say more?

I have enjoyed coffee here several times now and thought it well worth a review. At only 90 cents for an espresso it is not only cheap, but also delicious. Although it is busy with both locals and tourists the service is excellent. Remember to stand and don't expect a leisurely coffee at a table as it is not that... More
