While on a shirt Buisness trip I looked up places to have good coffee and came across this place. I ended up going back a few times. The coffee is smooth and delicious

I came to this place specifically for the coffee. I have heard so many great things about the coffee in Italy and also that this place were on the top five list to drink a great coffee in Rome. The atmosphere was nice, there were many people inside, it felt like Rome. I was disappointed about the coffee though. I... More

Simply stated: there is no better coffee in the city of Rome. The staff is efficient, the coffee is excellent, their pastries are quite good. But it's the coffee!

If you love coffee, this is a must-do experience! Not only was their specialty Granita con Pan or di Caffe amazing, but I went back and had their cappuccino and that was excellent too. I highly recommend this place. (The Starbucks Roastery and Tasting Room in Seattle can't come close to this.) I didn't order any food, just coffees. I... More

The frozen coffee treat served here is as delicious as everyone says. Full, rich coffee flavor, not too sweet. Decadent but not overwhelming. Also had that lemon, which was good but not destination worthy. Easy to find a couple blocks from the Pantheon.

Authentically Roman. Quick, brusque, lovely. No need to hang around. Pay first then get a coffee/pastry for fuel before you move on.

They have rearranged the set up their store (and increased the prices.) The cashier used to be at the far end of the shop. Now it is in the middle and it creates congestion with those trying to pay and those wanting to order coffee at the counter. Also people inadvertently cut in line because it is difficult to see... Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
