My partner absolutely loved this coffee shop! Best coffee in Rome, and so cheap! It has a strange system in place to pay, you go to one till and order your drink, make payment, you then get given a token to then go to the barista to make your coffee. Great experience. You can even order the coffee from England!

Its a nice quirky little place but the quality of the coffee is just on par with starbucks and the servce is not as good as in Starbucks. Prob better than the places in the square nearby though so still worth a visit just dknt expect spectacular coffee. Expect slightly better than average coffee.

We read about it everywhere, so we had to see it for ourselves and we agree 100% : La Tazza d’ Oro, a historic coffee house very close to Pantheon, serves espresso and other types of coffee of the very best quality. Here, you can either make a quick stop like so many locals do, any time of day to... More

As the oldest coffee shop in Rome, the store itself is a tourist attraction. The locals claim this place makes the hands-down best coffee in town and the price has not raised (.85 euro for espresso) since decades ago. You will know what real espresso tastes like after you’ve tried theirs – put all the stuff we have in America... More

If your anywhere near the pantheon this is a must, the hustle and bustle of a coffee shop at more that reasonable prices considering the location and the price of other establishments within the area. Very little seating but standing up enjoying a coffee was great

A Roman institution, Tazza d' Oro has been caffeinating Romans for nearly three quarters of a century. Move over, Starbuck's: An Espresso (Just say 'Cafe" when you order) is less than a euro and a cappuccino is 1.3 Euros. There is another famous coffee house nearby, Eustachio, but they put sugar in it and charge a lot more. I stop... More

This place is by far my favorite to have a perfect cappuccino - the strength of the coffee, the temperature, the creamy foam - everything is as it should be. I recommend it to everyone!
