We were lucky to have this coffee shop within a few yards of our hotel on the Piazza de la Rotonda. Once you've got the hang of the slightly Byzantine ordering system, it's great - you have to go to a till somewhere by one of the entrances to order and pay, then take your chit to one of the... We happened upon this location and later realized it was actually suggested as a stop in our guide book. Love it when that happens. Nice coffee shop to pop into. Sip a cup at the bar while observing the signs on top of the coffee sacks requesting that you not sit on top of their valuable product. Head around the... More

Very authentic coffee shop serving for many many years delicious coffee. I tried coffee granita (ice) with panna (whipped cream) and it is sensational.

Great coffee and friendly service even though this place is crowded. We also bought coffee to take home with us, again the staff was very helpful.

We loved this place, the atmosphere, the coffee and the little melamia we had with it. Go try their coffee, they say is it the best in Rome - I agree!

For once, the advertising leader is correct - you can find the best flavored coffee anywhere here in this quick paced cafe. They prepare, blend and grind many types of coffee for purchase. Atmosphere is less than friendly, however, with only bench seating against the wall - designed for quick in, quick out.

Stumbled across this place when wandering near Pantheon. We were really surprised by the prices and a wide range of coffee tastes, bought each one a cup and enjoyed every sip of it. Funny it was the first time we actually tasted really good coffee in Rome. Strongly recommended! You'll be enclosed in a magnificent coffee aroma long after you... More

Unique coffee shop with an italian feel, the staff aren't friendly but it's a good coffee ! Pay for coffee at the till then find your place at the bar - there's a little shop to where you can buy their coffee beans and other bits and bobs !

Based on its location I expected this to be just another tourist trap. I was very wrong. The clientele seemed to be mostly locals and the espresso was fabulous. Pay in advance and find a spot at the bar. It made this tourist feel like an Italian. My son and I spent several days in Rome and started, and sometimes... More

A local told us about this place and we loved it! We loved the coffee, of course, and the croissants in the morning. Very reasonable. You must go, especially if you like coffee. But please don't expectna cheery welcome! They will only speak Italian, which is fair enough, but appear not to have time for customers at all, they are... More
