Best Coffe in Town

This was the best cappuccino I had, not only in Rome, not only in Italy, but ever. I am sure that there are many other stores in Rome, where you can get good coffee, but it is still hard to believe for me that they can exceed the cappuccino of Tazza D’oro. Try and see! Right next to the Pantheon.

At the suggestion of our tour guide, we checked out this little shop for a refreshment prior to visiting the Pantheon. What a treat! The Granita di Caffe con Panna was just what we needed for a "pick me up" on this July afternoon of touring Rome when temps were easily approaching 100 degrees F. Quite a bargain at only... More

For my taste, this place had the perfect espresso. Normal price, quick service, and the coffee was just perfect. There's not much more to say, the place is nice, the coffee is good. If you're around and in the mood for a quick coffee, this is a sure bet!

This is one of those places that once you find it, you make sure you come back again and again. We must have gone here three times and wish we would have found it sooner. Brought home some of their coffee as well. Perfect in every way. Do yourself a favor, make sure you find this place. Prices are very... More

this is the place for coffee lovers. The espresso is only .90 euro and the iced coffee with whipped cream is a real treat. Quick service - a place for the locals as well.

The granita di caffe and the granita al limone are both remarkable. The coffee granita is layered, parfait-style, with whipped cream, and the lemon is tart and not too sweet. Granted, granita abounds in Rome, but this place merits its reputation and the more expensive price tag (3 euros each, I think?). Enjoy it in the Piazza della Rotonda.

This place is all about coffee, and especially espresso. Delicious espresso, and the Granita is also good. Avoid when the biggest tourist hoards are in here, but they get out quickly. Miss the smell of freshly ground coffee.

I have never had an espresso before I went to Rome and I am so glad I waited to have one here- it was so nice. The coffee is so smooth and rich and only 90 cents for an espresso!

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
