Oh My God!

The coffee here is amazing! It cost us €2.20 for two of the most amazing cappuccinos ever. It is busy and there is no seating which is disappointing but if you can get in while it's quiet you won't be disappointed. You can buy ground coffee or coffee beans inside and there is also a vending machine... read more

I struggle to understand why Italy is famous for coffee - most places just serve thimbles of brown water. This place on the other hand serves delicious coffee for only a euro. GO GO GO ! And the view of the pantheon!! AMAZING.

I do not know why they moved the cashier to the middle of the store. It is the most inconvenient location. You have to cut through the line to get to the area where they sell the coffee beans and to get to the VERY long line to the bathroom. This coffee shop is located very near the Pantheon and... More

Very close to the Pantheon. This place is a must! I'm glad the locals recommended it to us ! I could only dream we had such coffee in the US.

If you appreciate your coffee, this is the place. Italy in general has the best coffee in the world, but this place stands out. No chairs - you go in and have your coffee standing, the Italian way. Rich tasty coffee, we had an espresso, cappuccino, latte - all were exceptional. Prices are sane - 90 cents for an espresso!

With it's close proximity to the Pantheon, I was expecting to be paying over the odds for a coffee. However we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable this place is. The coffee was lovely and the atmosphere was very authentic. Knocks spots off starbucks.

Tazza d'Oro is the epitome of what I dreamt Italian coffee would be. As with most Italian coffee shops, you order at the register (you can buy coffee, ground or beans, by the way - I recommend it!) and step up to the counter with your receipt. My family ordered cappuccinos (delicious!) and probably the single tastiest thing I ate... More

I have been at this place for several times in my both trips. Their espresso is the best. Very strong but tasty. This place is just around Pantheon, so every time we were passing by we stopped here for the best cafe at the affordable price. Don't expect for a table and service. Get in the shop, pay for your... Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
