This restaurant was close to our hotel and we tried it out following reviews of others on TripAdvisor. If you are Lo,I got for authentic Chinese at a reasonable price then Yami is recommended. It is close to main rail station tucked away opposite where the airport shuttle service operates. The meals are quickly served by presumable the owner who... More

This Chinese restaurant is near the Rome Termini Station. They provide good food with low cost. We ordered sweet and sour soup, fried beef rice, spicy chicken, and beef with vegetables, and beverages. The total price cost around Euro 20. We visited the restaurant twice while in Rome. Definitely will come again.

Went for the xiaolongbao, and those lived up to our expectations. Very good. Had sweet and sour duck and duck with bamboo and fungi, too. Also very tasty. Affordable prices and excellent food, what else do you need, really?

Been in Italy for almost 10 days now and like any other Asian, both my husband and myself were getting sick of the usual Italian fare. We read reviews and tried Yami however were a tad disappointed at the taste of the food. A tad oily and tasted flat unlike the usual Chinese fare with various flavours. We did not... More

Since I always stay at the Yes Hotel in Rome, I like to dine close to the hotel and have found several gems - Ristorante Yami is one of those gems. Their combination meal of hot and sour soup, veggie fried rice, and sweet and sour pork for 9.5 Euros is the best on their extensive menu. When I want... More

A break from all Italian dishes. Highly recommended!!! The pork rib is very good, as well as stir fried eggplant and omelette with shrimp.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
