Tasty and reasonably-priced

As a Chinese, I have to say their food is really Chinese! And the price is just affordable. The owner is nice. Recommended!

Since I always stay at the Yes Hotel in Rome, I like to dine close to the hotel and have found several gems - Ristorante Yami is one of those gems. Their combination meal of hot and sour soup, veggie fried rice, and sweet and sour pork for 9.5 Euros is the best on their extensive menu. When I want... More

A break from all Italian dishes. Highly recommended!!! The pork rib is very good, as well as stir fried eggplant and omelette with shrimp.

I just wanted something warm on a freezing day in Rome so, I walked in, and, it did warm my tiring body and heart after a long journey. It's like mom home made food, and as I Chinese food cooker, I knew it's was fresh made, the soup base was not heated up by a packaged chicken soup~ The service... More

The meals here are cheap and nice. There is a wide selection, and staff attend to you right away. The free Wi-Fi is also a bonus.

Just like other reviews above, we were tired of eating only pizza, pasta and all these carbohydrates. I searched the web and found this place had very good reviews. It was very close from Termini station. Insode is very clean and staffs are decent too. But above all, the food is delicious especially pork with sour sauce. And the price is... More

Very nice service, doesn't really look good from the ourside but very tasty, rather cheap (for Rome) food, kind staff. Totally Recommending it!

The place is not over great looking but don't judge a book by its cover!!! The food takes time coming out, but it is worth it and it's all fresh. The owner is slightly crazy when talking to his staff but that is part of the charm.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
