It is very cheap restaurant, but it has very good food. Service is excellent, and the staff is very polite. I've had veal with bamboo and mushrooms and it was very good. My girlfriend had hot chicken with green paprika. I would highly reccomend it for someone who wants to eat good for reasonable price. Next time when we are... More

Fancied a change from pizza and pasta, through other trip advisor reviews thought we would try this place. I've had better tasting chinese, the meals came out on little tea plates making it difficult to mix dishes, one thing that did get the thumbs up was the price was very reasonable. I would not go back though

Perfect if you like Chinese food with a small price tag. Very central to Termini station and the portion sizes are large. No hassle service and food is fresh. Great wee treat if you fancy something different from pizza & pasta in Rome.

I was overall happy with Yami. They did overcharge on the bill but apart from that the food was fine and the service was okay.

Food good price good, service ok. Eating generally expensive in Rome and this small restaurant is ok for quick lunch or dinner. Do not expect Ristorante type of service and atmosphere. I like it here. Compare to the next door Chinese restaurant, i will prefer yami.

We were so impressed with the food and service at Yami, it is a family run restaurant which is conveniently situated just a 2min walk from Termini Train Station with great service and food that is value for money. As the case with the rest, my husband and I was getting tired of Italian food and decided to have some... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
