They serve the largest portions I've seen anywhere in my 2 weeks in Italy and for cheaper prices than I have seen almost anywhere as well. The gelato flavor was fantastic! It is just a small shop with no where to sit but that's okay because it is right by St Peters. The service was friendly and fast. I recommend... More

Old Bridge doesn't "need" our additional recommendation, but we'd say that as of early May, 2013, it continued to be outstanding. The chocolate and strawberry were especially good. The lemon was a little and bitter for our taste. Others might love it.

I've been to Rome with my friends 3 years ago, we were recommended this place by an American studying at the Vatican, the lines were long but after we got a taste it was well worth it! Great prices, with gigantic portions and the best tasting flavours I've ever had! Not to mention friendly staff! This year I travelled with... More

This place has the best gelato in Italy! And I must say, gelato in Rome is far better than in Venice... Why is this the best place for gelato? 1. Creamiest and tastiest gelato - My favorites: Straciatella, Bacio, and Nutella.. Heaven! 2. Value for money - The most expensive is the Eur 5 huge waffle cone with your choices... More

When we say the line waiting for this little gelateria we knew we had to have an icecream over here. We didn't get disapointed....the best icecream we had in Rome and very nice people. Also the price was nice concidering the location (right between the vatican museum and the st. pietro)

When an icecream parlor has a constant 10 minute queue you know its going to be good! Delicious and at an unbelievably good price!!

Have a delicious pannini from Duecentogradi (around the corner) for lunch and then come here for dessert. After horror stories regarding ice cream rip offs in Rome you will very pleased with the good value and flavours you find here. There can be a queue but it's worth the wait. We were there on the afternoon of Papa Francesco's inauguration... More

Went here after reading about it in Rick Steves - Rome guidebook. It's a tiny place across the street from the Vatican but look for the line of people waiting! For 2.5 euros you get a large cone filled with 3 scoops from a selection of about 14 flavors that was the best gelato we've ever had. We had a... More

This is the best gelateria in town and maybe in Italy. Huge amount of excellent gelato for a reasonable price. The chantilly cream is excellent too! Don't be scared by the queue, the guys are quick enough to have the people flow rapidly. Best ice cream in town!

The best icecream in Rome (try Crema & Coco) and the great location, just on the way to/from Vatican. even local people use to come to enjoy their ice-cream after supper. definitely worth waiting in the line and you may try the nearby pancakes while waiting:)
