Makes you want to have Gelato All Day

Had this right after eating at its neighbors, Creperia Michaelangelo. That Strawberry Sherbet combined with the Mint Gelato left me wanting more, more, more, more, etc.

We stopped by here during the week as there was always a queue so we had to see what the fuss was about. I now know why there was always a queue, its a great price for delicious ice cream. I really recommend the double chocolate ice cream and the lemon sorbet. Enjoy!!

Visited following a recommendation from a friend. It was clear from the queue that this a popular shop. Part of the reason for the queue was the large selection and the fact that you can have more than one flavour! I opted for a cone but would recommend a tub due tongue extremely generous amounts of gelato that was piled... More

This year after visiting the Vatican museums I wanted to eat ice cream but the gelateria was closed, I was really happy when I was strolling toward the Tiber ran into the same gelateria. New galateria in... More

As other have said, compared to other gelaterias in Rome you get larger quantities of good ice cream for your Euros at Old Bridge. The best flavours that we tasted were strawberry and pistachio. The place is tiny though and you can feel rushed when ordering

The gelato was quite tasty, you get a big portion and the price is quite affordable. A large double (two flavors) was just 2.50 Euros. There was always a line at night, filled with Italians (always a good sign) and members of clergy...no surprise given its close proximity to the vatican. We were repeat customers!

We visted this gelateria after a concert... we were too tired but our local friends insisted.. I am so glad we gave it a go! It's by far the best ice-cream we had so far.. It's now a must for us whenever we visit Rome

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
