This is a lovely resturant for tourists because it is not touristy and food is delicious. Quiet with a helpful and engaging staff (Hi Marco!). Execellent spaghetti carbonara and veal. It is across the street from the Hotel Dei Mellini. Great, well-priced wine list. Staff speaks English.

This super restaurant was a few minutes stroll from our hotel Dei Mellini. We were tired and hungry. Rustic restaurant and not many people. We shared the speciality for 2 persons steak which is cooked the Argentian/Brazilian way ie beef sliced and served off the skewer at intervals along with BBQ veg and potatoes - absolutely delicious. Had excellent house... More

We were looking for a place close to our apartment (Residenza Elisabetta) after a long day of walking around Rome. It was a nice neighborhood place with good atmosphere and steak and pizza items. Reasonably priced for a family of five with teens.

I ventured into Vito's after a day trip to Capri. My tour bus dropped me off down the street from my hotel and I discovered Vito's on my walk back to the hotel from the bus and it turned out to be quite a treat! The restaurant feels very rustic and I really loved the ambiance, even late at night... More

WE were just looking for some place to eat and asked at the front desk of our hotel. The front desk clerk suggested VITO'S. We were not disappointed. WE ordered the beef "manzo" for 4 and we all ate well. The service and food was great. the price was exactly right for what we got. The chef was very accommodating... More

We had been in Tuscany and had not been able to eat a Florentina steak and really wanted to have one before we flew home to the USA. Hotel Visconti reccommended Vito's, a local resturant not on the tourist route. It was wonderful!!!! The waitress we had was so cute and helped us order our meal. We love when the... More

Do not believe the reviews of this restaurant. I started with the grilled veg - they were tasteless. Then the veal cutlet with veg. The cutlet was very good the veg not so. Al in all I think they rely on tourist trade which passes quickly. There are better places to eat in Rome for the same money.
