We were looking for a place close to our apartment (Residenza Elisabetta) after a long day of walking around Rome. It was a nice neighborhood place with good atmosphere and steak and pizza items. Reasonably priced for a family of five with teens.

I ventured into Vito's after a day trip to Capri. My tour bus dropped me off down the street from my hotel and I discovered Vito's on my walk back to the hotel from the bus and it turned out to be quite a treat! The restaurant feels very rustic and I really loved the ambiance, even late at night... More

WE were just looking for some place to eat and asked at the front desk of our hotel. The front desk clerk suggested VITO'S. We were not disappointed. WE ordered the beef "manzo" for 4 and we all ate well. The service and food was great. the price was exactly right for what we got. The chef was very accommodating... More

I came upon this restaurant by chance, I was looking for another restaurant and asked someone for directions and they referred me to Vito's, I arrived around 8pm Sunday evening and was immediately seated, and was immediately waited on by a young man from Ecuador Marco V. he was excellent described everything in English and recommended the Filet in Green... We had been in Tuscany and had not been able to eat a Florentina steak and really wanted to have one before we flew home to the USA. Hotel Visconti reccommended Vito's, a local resturant not on the tourist route. It was wonderful!!!! The waitress we had was so cute and helped us order our meal. We love when the... More

If you are looking for grilled meat and great pasta, this is a very good choice. Staff extremely friendly and polite.

Do not believe the reviews of this restaurant. I started with the grilled veg - they were tasteless. Then the veal cutlet with veg. The cutlet was very good the veg not so. Al in all I think they rely on tourist trade which passes quickly. There are better places to eat in Rome for the same money.

It was fine. welcome great, starter of prosciutto was good, fillet steak in a pepper sauce was good though served with frozen chips, vegetables disappointing, wine good, not overly expensive but certainly nothing special. Plenty of places with similar prices but better food.

Oh boy are we glad we asked our hotel for a recommendation for dinner. Vitos was one of the best restaurants we've been to and we ate here for the 4 nights we were in Rome. We always try to find restaurants away from the tourist trails when we go abroad and this was definitely a great find!!! We opted... More
