Best in Rome

The service was impeccable, you feel as if you are part of the family. If you come, ask for John-Fran he makes the experience that much better! The ravioli, the chicken fettuccini, and the buffalo mozzarella are mouth watering. Tell them Segun sent you, and have a BIG BEER and a shot of Limoncello... read more

Fantastico! The Resturante is the best restaurants when I was in Rome! The food is really home made! You should try! Otherwise you are missing something in Rome

At Vito's i had the best fettuccine al porchini ever. And I had some Italian cheeses after. The pasta was very tasteful and a nice portion. They have one table at the street meant for smokers. I sat down there and really enjoyed the meal. Very friendly staff served me.

Good food. Beware of the "specials". Partly our own fault for not checking the prices but the T-Bone steak was an unexpected 75 Euro's. Most of the steaks on the menu were 25-30 Euro. Although it was shared between 2 people, it had been described as being available for 1-4 people but when we requested it between 3 we were... More

I love going to this restaurant, the food is delicious and I am treated special and made to feel very welcome with excellent service throughout the meal, I had the steak dinner and caramel topped flan like a crème brulee.

We visited twice - both nights for dinner - and received the most wonderful service. Friendly fun but well organised and switched on too. Food was great. First night pasta dish was delicious 2nd night steak and rocket with parmesan. Lasagne and cucumber and tomato salad served with oregano. Yum. Great red wine We were also served beautiful Lemonchillo -... More

We were staying down the road and walked past during the day. At night we returned and were welcomed in by one of the many very pleasant staff. The service was great, food was fantastic. We liked it that much that we went there 3 times during our holiday and ate a different dish each night and all were superb.... More

We eat in this restaurant on August 2 and 3. Great food! I and my son want pizza without cheese. This was no problem at all. Value for money.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel, BUT apparently the owner changed recently. The new one is a cheater! First they try to sell you a very expensive wine and when you pay the bill they ask you for service to be added to the bill because it is not included, of course between 15% and 20%!!! Cheaters... A friend of ours highly recommended a trip to Vito's when we visited Rome and we were very happy we sought this great restaurant out and experienced it. We arrived there really late for lunch - around 3 pm or so and the place was empty which initially had us concerned but that was wiped away very quickly with the... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
