This restaurant was chosen by walking from our hotel Dei Mellini. I wish I had read the reviews on here first and not wasted my time at this establishment. I ordered local craft beer and got mass produced lager. The chicken was bones with very little meat and a tomatoey sauce. Two portions of chips arrived as one plate to... More

We have been to Roma 4 times over the past 10 years. Our first visit was as a couple for our 10th anniversary in 2006. We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel close by. We ate there every night for the 4 nights we were there! Vito, the owner at the time, treated us a family. The World Cup... More

After many days in Rome, finally we found a very very very good Italian restaurant here! Everything here was delicious! We ordered spaghetti bolognese, the sauce was so tasty! The waitress told us that the chef spent 3 hours to prepare it! For main course they recommended their speciality which is "picanha", a cut of roasted beef. The fresh and... More

Avoid this restaurant!! We went to this place because it was local to our hotel and the menu outside look reasonable plus there appeared to be a lot of people inside. On getting a table we were presented with a different menu and wine list and the people we saw sitting at the window table were in fact staff including... More

How long should it take for 3 pizzas and 1 spaghetti? Well actually we don't know as we left after one hour waiting in a barely heated restaurant. The boss was kind enough not to let us pay the olives and the bruschetta they took 40' to deliver. Honestly I think they had a problem with the kitchen. I cannot... More

Things to do Nearby

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
