Tasty Pizzas

Value for money. Good family restaurant. We got ther early and was quickly filling up. Excellent service and large variety of pizzas and other foods. House wine ok. Cost us Euro 26.50 for two pizzas, mixed grilled vegetables and house wine. Recommended for cheap quick meal.

This was, so far, the best pizza I've had in Italy. Simple, yet delicious, ingredients. Served on a delicious wafer thin crust. If you think one pizza will be too much, you've probably only ever had over-sauced, over-cheesed pizza. Try La Pimpaccia. It changed my idea of what great pizza actually is. And the lemon tart dessert was decadent.

Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
