Awesome view, but thats it

Came here after sitting on the spanish steps for a while. The view from the the terrasse is really nice, but the prices are very high (which by itself would be ok cause of the spezial location) AND the staff is incredible unfriendly. When paying 8€ for a glass of the house wine I expect to be... read more

Our bus tour dropped us off close to the top of The Spanish Steps, we stood and took in the view, glancing to the right we saw what looked like a great bar/hotel, intrigued, we decided to investigated more. As it was only 12 o'clock we had the pick of the best seats, with the sun shining on a gorgeous... More

whether it was the location, the view, the excellent service, food and wine, (hopefully combined with the company since we were on our honeymoon), but he did say that he believed this would be his favorite in the world. From a man who has been the world over, a couple of times, that's saying something!

Greet little balcony bar at the top of the spanish steps. Great view, especially nice spot on a march sunny day! It is a little pricey but you expect that because of the location. pizza was about 14 euros so probably double that in some places but we shared a pizza for lunch and it was plenty. great to just... This place is in a great location overlooking the Spanish steps. Good spot to people watch while sipping on cocktails. A tad expensive however can't put a price on watching the sunset over Rome.

What I found absolutely annoying about this bar situated on a roof terrace a few metres far from the spectacular Spanish Steps, is the "radio-kind" music playing loud from loud-speakers. I mean, really: people come from all over the world to see the Spanish Steps, to enjoy the beautiful view from the terrace on the top of it, to feel... More

Very sunny and excellent view over the Spanish Steps on a November Afternoon. The wine, olives and pizza were surprisingly good and we felt the quality, quantity and location justified what at first seemed a high price

This bar-restaurant has a great view but it is really expensive. A bottle of water costs 8?!!! There is wifi but the store won't let you connect. Finally, they made everything possible to let us go as soon as possible. Cocktails were very nice.

I saw this bar/restaurant at the top of the Spanish Steps as I was making my way through the crowds one evening. And I was very surprised that at this time of the day, with a beautiful sunset sky developing, that it wasn't busier. I did not eat here, but enjoyed a drink with the complimentary nibbles. The drinks were... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
