Food and atmosphere: great. Staff okay.

Enter this place and you see a nicely decorated restaurant. There are plenty of tables, I guess you don't need a reservation most of the times (but you can if you want to be sure ;)). The food is great, especially the pizzas and desserts. The mixed meat is good but not outstanding (small portion... read more

food is tasty, house white wine is very good, portions are HUGE, but service is very slow and your credit card might not work.

Me and my girlfriend visited here on New Years Day for dinner. We had seen it while walking to other restaurants in the area of San Lorenzo and thought we would give it a go as the menu looked alright. We was wrong.... The bruschetta's were both burnt, my pasta was cold, the service was poor and my girlfriend was... More

When I arrived with my friends there was no available table, so they provided one very close to the entrance, so it was very cold when people came in. It is crowded. They invented a bad table for us, but i do not appreciate it. The food was average.

have been there last night and have to complain about the service: waiters talk behind foreign customers saying bad words and believing they are not understood. Apart for that, the pizza was burnt, too dry and too salty. The place is nice, the atmosphere is right and price fair, but overall I would not advice this place

If you want an affordable restaurant this is it! It is the place to go when your on a budget while on vacation. The food is slightly below average, but I guess you get what you pay for.

with the roof having been slid back and the sun shining in - uncrowded, quiet, tranquilo. And the pizza was surprisingly excellent. As was, of course, the wine.

The food here is good, copious and affordable. We had a huge quantity of meat served on a hot plate so the thing was cooking right in front of us. It was pretty good with sauces that came with and the personnel is very smiley and chatty. I good address in Rome

We passed by seeing how quaint and busy it was so we took a chance. Very nice old style decor of typical Italian eatery. We ordered as steamed mussels, spaghetti with clams and Florentine steak to share. It was great. The seafood was very fresh. The steak was about .5 kg TP about 25€, wasn't bad compared to others. Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
