Loved the quiet environment and the food, the staff were very great and so helpful. Had a wonderful evening thanks to this restaurant.

There are three Settembrini in a row - the restaurant, the cafe and the cafeteria. I'm reviewing the restaurant. We found the food to be inventive, interesting, and quite good, the service very friendly and the wines were quite good. You can get good wines by the glass and the suggestions of the staff were excellent. My favorite things were... More

Three of us, two Italians and myself (Canadian) went to Settembrini last night for our last meal in Rome before heading back to Vancouver. What a mistake....talk about ending our love Italian trip on a sour note. We were completely ignored by servers and treated as if we were second class citizens. After one of my friends loudly and assertively... More

Arrived for dinner at 8pm on Wed night without making a booking and were seated after a bit of wait. Extensive cocktail list- tried bitter based one, very nice taste and presentation. Food is modern European: a bowl of crisps was very nice as they were homemade. Had Thai chicken, Calamari and Octopus salad. Food was served lukewarm and without... More

A really loved the atmosphere of the place with the soft lights and the little library corner at the end of the bar, where you can enjoy some reading while you are having your wine, specially you are without a company. This is a very Roman place where you can see local people coming for lunch or for a lunch... More

What a treat. Some of the very best Rome has to offer can be found here! Cocktails by artist Matteo Zed are a special treat! The food is most wonderful and the service war and friendly. I have no idea how this is ranked so low but it was a true treat. And I'm plenty fussy!

This cafe had been highly recommended by locals and friends. It is a nice room in a lovely residential neighborhood with some of the most worst service I encountered in Rome. A salad of mixed lettuce (8 euros ) had pieces of brown lettuce and arrived with no dressing. The waiter never came to check on us, and I finally... More

I ate here a couple of times for lunch during my stay in Rome. It was near my hotel, otherwise I'm not sure I would have ever made it to the area. The food isn't fancy or elaborate, at least not at lunch, but very good and satisfying. After a couple of weeks eating my way thru Puglia, I was... More

I ate here on my own on Friday night. I liked this place so much that I brought my wife there the next night when she arrived in Rome. It's a fun wine bar, a short stroll into a nice neighborhood north of the Vatican area. The wine selections are great. We had the mixed salami plate and the bufalo... More

Located in one of the wealthiest district of romeand away from the usual tourist spot, it's only crownded of Roman. It's beautiful old bar with modern and revisited furniture. The pastries are georgious, the juices are freshly squizzed on the spot. On we the street is quite and you really enjoy staying on the designed sofa or the nice table.... More
