This is a very trendy cafe that filled quickly with an after work crowd for their evening aperitivi and a snacks. On this occasion an Italian celebrity was among those enjoying a spring evening at an outside table. He graciously shook hands and posed for photos with well wishers and staff from this friendly bar. We found this off the beaten path gem after a long day of sightseeing with millions of other tourists. They were busy and it took a little time to reach us, but once the server arrived, we enjoyed excellent recommendations. We had the mixed cheese and meat antipasti and a green salad. Both were delicious. See the photo for desserts... More

This place is packed during day. They offer great choices for lunch and make very good coffee so people keep flowing in. During evenings turns a bit more quiet and intimate. Choices for dinner can be nice Tuesday to Sunday because on Mondays they have a fixed menu. The design is nice yet simple, which I totally loved and the... More

This nice place is situated near my hotel and during my stay I went there very often. The place is really nice but the waiters are absolutely rude! When they are asked to switch on the heaters they brag they don't work but apparently for elderly people the work properly. Each time I came, since the wheater was pretty warm,... More

We were on our honeymoon in Italy when we stumbled upon Settembrini Cafe. It was the lighting that was beautifully displayed outside the cafe that drew us in. We weren't sure if we would stay but then we heard live music just inside. The place was full and the atmosphere was fantastic. We spoke to the hostess and she was... More

So we ducked in here for a drink when we saw that it was TEEMING with twenty-somethings. There were no seats, so we sat outside. No one came for over a half hour. I don't know why we didn't get up and leave. Once we FINALLY got service, when the waiter didn't bother lighting the heat lamp, we paid an... More

It's not as easy as you might think to find good coffee in Rome, but here it is fantastic. As an added bonus they have free wifi to use and loads of space both inside and outside so you can sit and chat/read/work for as long as you like and you won't be pushed into leaving. In fact the service... More

Went here at around midnight for a late night cocktail. The place is divided into 3 spaces ie cafe, restaurant and bar. We did not eat here so chose to sit outside which is set up in a really interesting and lovely way. The street is much quieter than many in Rome making it very enjoyable to sit there (a... More

Stumbled upon this place after being steered wrong TWICE by TripAdvisor (places that didn't exist anymore). Was a nice place to stumble into. The waiter was very attentive. Our first waitress did not speak much english, so she found this gentleman to assist us. He was great. We had a cheese plate and some drinks. Hit the spot!
