One thing Rome is not short of is restaurants. From a choice of thousands it was none too easy to make selections for our 3 nights sightseeing trip and after a full day on our feet it had better be worth the effort of getting dressed up for! Ad Hoc was a brilliant choice. In the heart of the old... More

Please be advise this is not for the budget friendly/money conscious as this restaurant is perfect for special occasions. With our reservation came a free truffle tasting which is in their shop down the street and around the corner. The tasting came with a glass of champagne and a tray with 8 different types of truffle spreads on bite sized... More

This is our best dinner in Rome. We like our truffle pasta. Their service is really good, highly recommended.

My Fiancé and I went to the Ad Hoc whilst in Rome. We booked on line and got a 10% discount. I got an email back form the owner of the restaurant confirming the table and asked if we would like to come to a complimentary truffle and wine tasting. We did and from the moment we walked into the... More

This place is one of the finest meal we had when we came to Rome. The courses were all very tastefull and the service professional and pleasant. They advised us well in the choice of wine and even gave us small gfits. We definitely recommend this place.

The only reason I'm giving it a poor and not terrible is because the staff is wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable and lovely. The food is just not good. We went on our honeymoon and did the truffle tasting. Every course was dry, overcooked, under seasoned and sometimes plain inedible. I couldn't even cut the duck with my knife. The "tiramisu" in... This is a great little place - the food was outstanding. It was truffle season and Ad Hoc offered a truffle tasting menu. They were extremely generous with the amount of truffle per course. When I return to Rome, I will certainly go back to Ad Hoc.

This is one of the best places we eat at during our trip through Italy! The service and atmosphere is great and romantic. We did the pre-dinner Truffle tasting before dinner and that was great! Highly recommend! The service and meal selection were phenomenal and def will come back here when we return to Rome!

Great food. Amazing wine. Beautiful venue. And lovely ambience. Service was average. Took ages to get any sort of help with wine. And bill also didn't arrive after 20 minutes of asking. We did have trouble booking though. We called on the telephone but there was a difficult language barrier. Instead. Email them for your reservation with clear requests of... More
