Nice cosy restaurant. A lobely Philippine girl helped us, thankfully she spoke fluently english but she could also explain us the meals and wine very well. Her knowledge of the wines was outstanding! As always I couldn't make my choices as I wanted to try 3 different appetizers! But our waitress was so nice to offer me a small plate... More

Me and my partner ate here and we did the Land Tasting menu and the Seafood tasting menu with matching wines. Food was lovely although small portions, we were both very full by the end. If I went again I would not do the tasting menu as you are restricted then to either just meat or just seafood, I would... More

I can highly recommend this centrally located restaurant in central Rome. They have a great selection of wines and fabulous food. I went for one of their truffle menues and didn't regret it although I was a bit "truffled out" (but that's the point of a truffle menu I guess). The wine pairing was well selected and the servcie was... More

I like it when a restaurant has a thing that makes it special. Ad Hoc specializes in fresh truffles. The overall experience was a very pleasant one, already with the booking. English-speaking owner responded to my request immediately and also invited us for a complimentary drink what later turned out to be also truffle-tasting. They have a lovely shop at... More

The food and service was excellent. Go for the food and wine tasting menu. And try the truffle tasting before dinner.

A group of 7 of us went here for my sister-in-law's 50th birthday celebration. As stated in the title, our BEST meal in Rome! The food was truly delicious - we all ate slowly to really enjoy the flavours. The service was wonderful - our waitress Daniella was very friendly and she took excellent care of us. The gifts of... We did the Truffle and Seafood tasting menu with wine pairing. Most expensive dinner but ranked 6th for food over our 10 days trip. I would rank the wine better than the food with excellent service.

Ad Hoc was recommended to us by a travel agent friend. We ordered the food and wine tasting, and it was excellent. To all the Americans who have complained about the slow service, let me just say, this is not McDonalds. If you want fast, go there. I have an idea the problem is with the attitudes of many of...
