Ad Hoc was a recomendation that we are sure to pass on! What an evening, starting with their truffle tasting which was complimentary, we then moved on to an amazing meal. The tasting menu with wine pairing exceeded expectations. They did not rush us at all, food came out perfect, wine choices were great. We felt it was well worth... More

This is the second time we visit Ad Hoc, and we were not disapointed. The total image however is that the restaurant has become more mainstream and the staff is not on the same level as last time. Maybe bacause of their earlier success and now a full restaurant at all times. But the food and drink is outstandig!

We made early dinner reservations, as we were travelling with my 1yr old, the restaurant is definitely fine dinning, but they are so welcoming and friendly, they brought out a baby chair and from the very beginning, catered to all of us, even my daughter. The food on its own is worth the visit, we tried 2 appetizers each, i... More

Marvelous food and great place for a romantic dinner. It's not the cheapest place you will go, but worth it. You have to reserve a table.

I was in rome in 2014 and had the pleasure of visiting Ad Hoc and my visit stands out as one of the most memorable experiences from my holiday. Both service and food is excellent and I can't wait to visit again!

This place is brilliant. The ambiance is spot on for a romantic meal. We had the taster menus with wine included. Yes it's expensive (€95) but if you can afford it it's well worth it. The service was great and the food excellent. Make sure you are hungry! Have a walk round piazza del poppolo and the gardens at the... More

We booked on-line and got an invitation for aperitif consisting of truffle tasting with sparkling wine - this was a very pleasant surprise to start with. For the dinner, we chose black truffle menus - the food was delicious and was accompanied with excellent wines. The service was great, and the entire experience was unforgettable! We recommend Ad hoc to... More

Booked here for our 21st anniversary dinner, was not disappointed! We both had the tasting menu, the option with wine was great value. The crime brûlée sampler was truly amazing!

My wife and I had dinner recently at Ad Hoc (Via di Ripetta 43, Roma, Italia). We had seen very good reviews of this restaurant on Trip Advisor, and the concierge of our hotel in Rome had also highly recommended it. The evening began with a truffle tasting at the restaurant's boutique/tasting room on nearby Via del Vantaggio. Our dinner... More
