Gorgeous, mainly seafood and fish dishes, but lots of other choices too. Fine dining. Didn't like that they gave me a menu without prices - so old fashioned! It is pricey but definitely worth it - great service and great wine too. The owner gave us a bottle of Limoncello when we left which was very generous of him.

I took my wife and friends here for a special occasion (half century). My food was good without being great, but perhaps my choice was not a good match for my tastes, because others in my party thought the food fantastic and in keeping with the price tag. However I particularly like the atmosphere - as mentioned in the title:... More

Great service which says a lot in this area but everyone was attentive and kind. We wanted to order the tasting courses but didn't have the appetite so we ordered the same items independent and shared amongst 4. So good....

My husband and I went here for dinner on our 3-day stay in Rome, and found it delightful. From the moment we walked in, all the staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. I had the seafood tasting menu, and my husband had the meat tasting menu. The food was flavoursome and the wine was excellent. We... More

We returned to Rome on the train from Florence and had asked our hotel (Roma Boutique) to make a dinner reservation for us in advance. We were introduced to a beautiful part of the city as we walked to Crispi 19, and were delighted to arrive and find that the restaurant was warm and charming in every way... very classy.... More

We visited Crispi 19 to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary and what a great choice. This is a small intimate restaurant with various types of crustaceans swimming in a glass tank in the main dining area. We decided to try the seafood tasting menu with wine. From the first course of lobster partnered with Prosecco the food, wine and service... More

My brother-in-law booked us in (party of nine), for a fiftieth birthday celebration dinner. WOW, what a treat, one of the finest dining experiences ever. Great original menu superbly presented and served. On top of this great wine. It really doesn’t get much better than this. Not to easy to find but make the effort, its worth it. Something here... Everything was very well prepared and presentation added to the experience. Our server (Rocco), the chef, the manager and all the staff were amazing.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
