My husband and I went there for a romantic dinner. The food was cooked to the right doneness, but it was not seasoned well. Italian food normally has great flavor from herbs and fresh vegetables. I found the taste in this food to be nothing but fish flavor and salt. The $20 pizza lunch we enjoyed earlier in the day... More

A place is a very comfortable one, with a lot of space and room, so it doesn't feel crouded, even if there are a lot of visitors. Waiters are nice, they can make a good suggestion on food and vine, which has to be mentioned separately. All food is fresh, seafood is delicious. One thing is bad - portions are... More

My husband and I visited this fabulous low-key restaurant for our wedding anniversary recently. The staff were attentive without being over-bearing and the food (and wine) were absolutely delicious. The menu was inventive without being indecipherable and we had a really wonderful evening. We sat in the front restaurant which could probably have been slightly cosier if I'm honest although... I visited this restaurant with my wife on 21 February 2015. The restaurant offers genuine mouth watering food which is very well presented. We spoke to the very friendly owner who welcomed us himself in the restaurant and also had a brief chat with us before we left. We opted for pasta and meat dishes and all were cooked to... More

We chose the restaurant because of the rating at Tripadvisor. It was a great disappointment. The service was not welcoming or good, thoughout our dinner. We ordered ravioli and carbonara but received ravioli and something else. After sharing my ravioli while waiting the carbonara for my partner finally came. Both dishes were disapponting, on the limit of being tastless. Sorry,... More

This is our first visit to Rome from Liverpool. This was the best food experience we have ever had. Seriously, this place is a must try. The food is not only delicious and excellently presented but unbelievable value. The staff we're so welcoming and passionate about this place. Can not wait to visit Crispi 19 again!

We found the setting, decor and ambiance just a little strange and not conducive to a great experience. Kind of felt like we were in someone's front room which had an overly large aquarium in it! The service wasn't bad but just wasn't that good (possibly could have done with more staff?) The food was good- authentic and good ingredients.

This hotel was recommended by our hotel concierge. We walked there and arrived around 7:30, an early hour by European standards. The restaurant didn't even look open but a gentleman(owner/manager?) asked if he could help. We didn't have reservations but, as it was early he welcomed us in. It is a charming restaurant and the tables are not close to... More

Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
