A pleasant place to spend an evening

Very helpful service, positive and enthusiastic. Food authentically Italian so don't expect 7 euro pizza. What we had was very good.

I have been visiting Rome for many years and was stunned to have had such a poor dining experience in a city where I have always found consistently excellent food and service at the same price as da Robertino. When we were seated, the restaurant only had two other people dining at 7PM on a Thursday. After being seated, we... More

Very poor, while trying to act upper scale. Young, unexperienced, blasé staff grooving to eurodisco from speakers at too loud volume. Bland food, undercooked pasta, high prices, very unimpressive. Don't go there, you'll find plenty of good, passionate restaurants in the area.

I very much regret the harshness with which you wrote your review. I think it would be important to know and respect the habits of the place that a person visits. In Italy pasta is eaten al dente, if you wanted the most cooked should have asked before, surely I could ask the chef to make an exception to the... More

Excellent restaurant. The staff are very friendly from the moment we walked in the door. At our table we received a free glass of fizz before deciding our choices. At the end of the evening it was rounded off with free Italian liqueur (Similar to Bailey's). Oh and the food was excellent too!!! I would recommend the saltimbocca with local... More

Doesn't look great from the street (or inside come to that) but food was excellent and service good. Had lunch with my wife and 4 kids (mix of bruschetta, pasta etc) and all the food was very delicious.

My friend and I attempted to get into Carbonara Restaurant without a reservation however they were booked so we walked a few steps down the street to Da Robertino and were immediately attended to. The restaurant is small but nice atmosphere. We tried the artichokes which were off menu but in season which were good served in olive oil. I... More

Robertino had exactly what I wanted: artichokes, fiori di zucca, amd boletus mushrooms done trifolati and finally a nice puntarelle salad. The wine was good. It is not cheap but we wnjoyed it and are likely to go back

Food wasn't anything to call home about. Portion size of the ravioli was quite small I felt. Desserts were overpriced at €8 each so we went to get ice cream down the street.

Dear Rob_1880, I am really disappointed to read a similar review of my restaurant. Prices are exposed out, a person can decide whether to enter, sit at a table and if you have the ability to spend that money. In Italy the portions ravioli are never plentiful, is a matter of culture. Best regards , Roberta Pepi More

The first dish - in my case risotto - was tasteless, the beef steak too salty. The staff was friendly, the service O.K. The restaurant lacks a bit charm and the plastic tablecloth at the tables on the terrace did not help to create a better atmosphere. For the quality and the service overpriced.
