Wonderful Food

We shared carbonara with artichokes, veal marsala and roman meatballs. They were all delicious and served piping hot and prepared to order. Not the cheapest meal, but well worth the additional cost. Service was attentive but not intrusive.

We loved the waitstaff and the food here. Can't understand the negative reviews since italian meals are supposed to be slow. We got delicious bruschetta, a salami platter and pasta. All were delicious. The waitress was awesome, she humored my request about where to buy the flying pig cutting board and they directed us to Fatamorgana for delicious Gelato dessert... More

I think it is always a problem as a Brit writing a review for Rome, you see they don't rush you, they have no problem if you want a three hour lunch. We had a ninety minute lunch, we sat and chatted over pasta which was delightful, we had a bottle of water, we met a friend who walked past... More

Really disappointed, tasteless food. Lazy waitresses, asked 3 of them for a bill, waited half hour and still haven't get it. At the end paid at the counter as the other couple before us ( which was waiting about the same amount of time for their bill) and they swapped our bills, thanks god we realised. Overall really poor

On our last night of a beautiful 10 days in Italy, my wife and I were unfortunate to stumble upon this disaster masquerading as an eatery. On arrival we were handed menus and not attended to again for 10 minutes. We were left with no option but to ultimately beg for drinks from the un-uniformed waitresses. Needless to say the... More

Too bad!!! I'm sorry you haven't written that I'm very apologized to you and your wife and that I offered drinks for our mistake. It can happen to anyone working to make mistakes, I was very disappointed. I don't understand what I should do more than ask excuse and offer the antipasto expected and the drinks. I understand that mine... More

We were out for a walk and decided just to call into this restaurant. We were given a very warm welcome from the time we walked in. The staff were very welcoming and very attentive. We decided on the 5 course tasting menu which was delicious. My mum ordered from the menu and her dinner was served appropriately with our... More

Nice local Italian restaurant. We had to wait a while for our order to be taken but food and drink were good. Really good house red. Asked for two salads to start which were delicious with lettuce, tomatoes, artichokes, carrots. Fresh pasta was delicious and one of the better pizzas we had in Italy.

I was searching on Yelp for just the right place to enjoy dinner alone with only one night in Rome! As I wondered the neighborhood, I decided to skip all the regular listings and sneak into da Robertino's. This turned out to be an excellent choice, the table in the front with the little statuettes and tows initially caught my... More

My friend and I were wandering around Rome looking for a nice neighborhood restaurant. We were intrigued by this tiny little place with the larger dining room next door. The owner, Roberta, asked us to wait outside on a little deck. She brought us Prosecco and a little plate of nibbles which was lovely. After about a ten minute wait... More
