Sardinian Restaurant

This place was close to our hotel, and we went there for dinner twice. The first time, we loved it. It is a small dining room, with a typical Sardinian menu. Seafood is emphasized, and we had lots of seafood (mussels, mixed seafood risotto, spaghetti in clam sauce, and grilled fish). We were... read more

Recently had an unforgettable dinner at this restaurant with a group of dear friends. We could taste plenty of Sardinian seafood dishes from starters to raw fish. The seafood dishes were very genuine and delicately prepared. The primi(pasta and risotto) were also very tasty. They offered lemon sorbet at the end which was a refreshing finish. Each one of the... If you are staying at one the hotels in the area this small simple restaurant provides a very pleasant dining experience. Very pleasant and friendly service and very good simple food, ideal for a couple or family on a visit to Rome. Does not look much from the outside but go in it is well worth it, we would certainly... It is a lovely small restaurant. We were in Rome for 5 days and we went there twice as the food was so good. The antipasto, seafood and risotto were absolutely delicious. The menu was in both Italian and English; and the waitress spoke good English. The service was very good too. We will definitely return if we go back... More

This is a huge favourite of mine and I go whenever I am in Rome. The fish is always outstanding and cooked to perfection. They also have meat on the menu which is also good. The atmosphere is great and it is always busy both lunch and dinner so it is better to book.

My family were in Rome for a wedding and on the last night of our visit my wife and I went for a meal and picked this restaurant at random after a stroll around the area. The restaurant had no tables outside but there was not many diners and we had a choice of where to sit. It is small... More

We stumbled on this place through a case of mistaken identity but were glad we came for lunch to this Sardinian restaurant. The only other time we have tasted this cuisine was in London and we liked it very much again. My seafood salad, my wife's Tagliolini ai Frutti di Mare Pachino and my son's grilled chicken were all polished... More

We were due to leave our hotel to come home but had two hours to spare. We asked our concierge to recommend a lunch spot. He said that he was so confident that the 8 in our party would enjoy it that he would pay if we did not! He also said that he eats there. It was really good.... More

If you are in Rome, Eat as the Romans they eat. I like to eat healthy and delicious food. In this restaurant we were eating healthy and delicious food. Excellent food for a reasonable price in the heart of Rome. We were eating fish specialties at the Italian way. Friendly and hospitable staff.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
