Very good choice in Celio

This is a spot worth searching out. That will be easy in this small district. The staff are very professional and considerate. The food and drink are a cut above and the price point is attractive. One can dine outdoors. There seems to be a marked demographic of French clientele, much more than we... read more

We were a group of 7 very hungry people when we reached here after a tiring visit to the Colosseum. This is close enough (5 min walk from the Colosseum), and much better and more reasonable food that you'd find in and around the Colosseum. Still, having gained experience of eating in Italian restaurants for 2 weeks, I would not... More

This was one of the busier restaurants we tried during our trip. Make reservations. Décor is very simple, the focus is on the food. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food and wine fantastic. What I enjoyed most was the diverse menu. After getting my fill of lasagna, ravioli, and other red sauce dishes earlier in the trip,... More

The food is okay, but be warned - lasagne is really al dente here. Service like the food is average.

It's uncommon to find a good restaurant around this neighborhood in Celcio, but this is a hidden gem. Tried the filleto do manzo Danese and paired it with a glass of chianti. The fillet was tender and soft. One bite, and the juice

We visited the restaurant and were so very pleased with it. It is simply furnished but we were made very welcome. The waiter spoke excellent English and talked us through the menu and made suggestions. The food was extremely tasty and well presented and I felt it was extremely good value for money. Excellent wine too.

We made a reservation there by phone and I insisted to get a table outside. We arrived and the waiter (with no hello no smile or anything) said we never asked for this and installed us inside... Anyway the food was excellent it's just a pity that the waiter was so impolite.

We want on a recommendation of a colleague to this restaurant and it was certainly worth it. The place was full at lunchtime with a lot of Italians present. If you want to sit outside you must reserve. They have a nice selection of food plus a board of suggestions. I had spaghetti carbonara & my spouse a vegetarian cannelloni.... More

This restaurant was close to our rented apartment, it is an authentic Italian restaurant, with an menu for all tastes. The prices are fair and service very good. The ambiance great, not a touristy place at all. The restaurant was recommended by our host who is a local, and we were not disappointed. a minutes walk from Coloseum in a... More

Waiters very friendly and helped us choose a meal that was very well cooked and presented. Found the portions very generous, especially the starters, so couldn't finish. However, would definitely recommend. Full of Italians which is always a good sign.
