The owner of this restaurant is Fernando, who is a multi-lingual gent. He has a wonderful personality as well as an excellent kitchen. You can order off the menu or just tell Fernando what you like and dislike, and leave the rest to him. His pasta with olive oil / pepper and garlic is to die for. Have been to... more

Close to Termini, downstairs from Via Principe Amadeo, is Ristorante Esedra La Grotta Amatriciana. Dinner was 55 € for an extensive mixed antipasti selection that we chose ourselves from a cold case, spaghetti pomodorino, cannelloni Esedra (fabulous!), veal saltimbocca (average), 2 waters, and a small carafe of decent wine (only 3 €).
