In my opinion, this is the best ice cream I have EVER had. The place is not so centrally located (they have two shops) but is is well worth the trip. You can tell just from looking that the ingredients are natural and fresh and the taste will not disappoint you. Here are the two locations: http://www.gelateriadeigracchi.it/dove-siamo.htm So, if you... More

This place is easy to miss, but when you found it you'll be satisfied. Excellent gelato with refreshing flavours. Selection of flavours isn't large, but I understood it's because they use only seasonal fruits and berries. It is worth a visit when you are exploring Prati area in Rome.

This little gelateria is tucked away on a side street not too far from the Vatican, off Via Cola Rienzo, which is an interesting shopping street to wander up anyway. I read somewhere that someone said not to be put off by its rather uninviting appearance and the usually long queue, because what is inside is worth it, and they... More

Firstly I'd like to say that the quality of the gelato was up there with the best in Rome. However the range of flavours was limited and odd - I ended up with caramelised pears. I honestly didn't like it but there was nothing else there I liked. If you're adventurous with wanting to try odd new flavours give this... More

We liked the ice cream so much we had it twice, I even went for a third go and had a lemon granita! If you are near the vatican you could do much worse than stop in for an ice cream. There are without doubt one of the best ice creams I have ever eaten.

This is the first ice cream place I have been to which offers dairy free ice cream! Thank-you so much!!! With three kids and a husband that can't eat normal dairy ice cream this place was a godsend. The kids had been saying how much they wanted to try Italian ice cream and I was struggling to find somewhere until... More

I discovered this place after a review in the new York times. A lovely little neighborhood gelateria which recently opened a branch in Piazza del Popolo, so it saves you a lot of time. Try the fondant grand marnier & apple/mint flavors.

Great gelate. Very rich of taste. I've had many different gelate in Rome, this one is not the best, but top 3.

Close to our B&B. Unbelievable gelato flavors. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. What else is there to say.

Walk in a grab a number— the line should move fast. There are few places to sit, but it's more fun to hang with the locals on the sidewalk outside anyways. We tried pistachio and stracciatella (the staples), but any flavor is probably equally amazing.
