Delicious fresh natural flavors!

They have such fresh/unique NATURAL flavors. I went here two times with my boyfriend, and the pistacchio here is simply the best. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, "mela e menta" is pretty much the frozen version of apple sauce with fresh mint.

Rather inauspicious place set in a fairly quiet area but the ice cream is to die for. Home made on the premises they have a great selection of flavours and styles, even catering for allergies. Our server was a trifle brusque but as we didn't speak much Italian we were a bit slow in deciding what we wanted. If you... More

Awesome gelato, especially for people who can't digest milk. The no milk gelato ice creams are heavenly. I stayed very close to this place, hence it was very convenient for me to visit this place on all 6 days I stayed in Rome and treat myself to dark chocolate, coconut and multiple other non-milk fruit flavours.

On the top 3 of our best ice cream on Roma, only 2€ for the small cup with 2 flavours. Small shop, not seat but very good.

We walked around more than 10 blocks (yes, 10) from St Peter Basilica to reach this outstanding gelateria hidden in a quiet neighbourhood, and the delicious gelati proved it's absolutely worth the long walk under the heat. We tried pistachio, almond with milk, almond with orange, dark chocolate with rum, coffee and haselnut, all of which were divine. From the... More

Had some of the bets ice cream I ever tasted. One of my top ice cream shops in Rome, and we tried several of them. Some uncommon flavours to die for.

This shop makes just natural ice-cream and they have a quite big selection of flavor. I try apple and mint and it was one of the best ice-cream that I ever tried, fresh and tasty. You can really taste the fruit in your ice-cream!

I almost walked past this Gelateria... The only way I found it was by people standing around with dishes of gelato. It looks like a hole in the wall but it's so much more. You take a number upon arrival because there are many people And it is very small inside with no tables. Plan to stand outside or walk... More

Found this place by chance, walked passed and never took much notice, we were eating just along the road and saw the number of what looked like locals turning up in cars and mopeds just for their gelato. We thought why not, walked up took a ticket, yes a ticket to be served, I'm sure there are other places as... More

What can I say that others have not said before. A local restaurant owner recommended this place to us when he learned we were living here for the summer and needed a go-to gelateria in the neighborhood. He was right--this is a "destination gelateria" with both classic and unique flavors. They allow you to have up to three flaavors in... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
