Great selection!

A large number of tasty gelato flavors to try - loved that we were able to sample before finally landing on a decision! The cones were underwhelming, not house made or anything to note.

Out of all the gelato we had in Italy this was the best place! They had better and more rare selections and their ingredients tasted fresh. Recommend this place!

Nothing about the experience was special. Portion size was small and overpriced. Flavors were good, but nothing to write home about.

Very nice ice cream, they have little labels on each type, like "without milk", "with milk", 'with milk and egg". It is very useful especially if you have any dietary restrictions.

Fantastic favors of gelato! The true flavor of ingredients shines through. Creamy consistency and creative flavors to choose from. Best choice in a city loaded with gelaterias!

This was the best gelato we had in Rome too. We tried toasted orange and almond, pistachio and chocolate-and-rum. All great, especially the nut ones. Really recommend. It was much more reasonable than the gelato in the centro storico. There was a ticket machine but we were the only ones there, so no queue. Would love to go back!

We've been to Rome twice and sampled 5 gelaterias. Dei Gracchi was the winner from our first trip 4 years ago and still stands above the ones we tried on this trip. The best flavour is dark chocolate Grand Marnier. It's our all-time favourite, most memorable gelato flavour. It's not too sweet nor bitter, simply perfect. Highly recommend!

This is the best gelato in Rome and tied with Gelateria dei Neri in Florence for the best gelato I've ever had. The flavors were intense and not too sweet. They also mark which flavors have eggs and milk and include options with neither (suitable for vegans). While not vegan myself, I actually enjoyed the vegan options the most, especially... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
