Lovely meal - try the pesto!

The setting of the restaurant was really nice too downstairs with a lovely arched roof. We'd... More

Quiet, romantic very comfortable and the food is in a class of its own Needs to be praised more often and needs to be better ranked than sapora It's simply needs to be in the top 50 Sad the pianist has a night off but after a day of tours it was so relaxing

The food was okay, but have had much better at smaller restaraunts. It is about what you would find at most NYC or SFO Italian restaraunts. Not impressed. The wine was very good, great selection and the sommelier was good about recommendations. The restaurant is below ground so you would think it is very cool in temperature. However it is... More

We tried this restaurant based on previous Tripadvisor reviews and weren't disappointed. Although in a converted cellar it is cosy without being claustrophobic. It is divided into sections by the arches which gives a degree of privacy. The first night we were there there was a group of 30 but we were hardly aware of them. The food is excellent... More

If you want a secluded spot with nice atmosphere, great cuatomer service, excellent food and attention to detail, this reataurant is a good choice. The food is a mix of Italian trqditional cuiaine aith aome novel elements and, of course, first class ingredients. The pastas are very nice and home made, the desserts beautifully presented. We drank a Spumante Lungarotti... More

We were booked into a restrauant by our hotel however we had instructions to walk there but forgot to take name of it with us, we ended up in the wrong restaurant however the food was terrific not too expensive, the service was very efficient but not in your face as there was time to rest a bit between courses.... This restaurant should be on everyone's list. We generally do not return to the same restaurant when we travel. Lo Stil Novo was the exception. It is a buca (cave) setting. Service was sterling. A full bar and an amazing wine list that included organic local wines. We were traveling with another couple and had a chance to sample many... More

Lo Stil Novo is such a fabulous restaurant. Gorgeous interior, cool downstairs location, much like having dinner in a beautiful wine cellar. The wines were spectacular and the sommelier incredibly helpful. We enjoyed: - Campani, Falanghina 2013 - Sagrantino Montefalco 2009 Lungarott For dinner enjoyed: - Cestino Soute - Ravioli Ripieni - Saltimbocca alla Romana With Tiramisu to follow. All... More

Faultless service and food. We had a great time. The sommelier recommends a perfect and reasonably priced wine and we loved the food.

My wife and I visited this restaurant as it was close to our hotel and after a long day of walking we didn't want to venture far. First impressions were very good. Everything is very clean and the basement setting is very nice. I had the tuna and my wife had the lamb chops. Both were delicious. Some might find... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
