Delicious but expensive

We expected a bit more for the price here. My entree with the deep fried zucchini flowers was very good but my husband was disappointed with his. He loved his ravioli main and I found my salmon ordinary. The salmon was beautifully cooked but the potatoes with it were tasteless and dried out. The... read more

We found this after we became lost in Rome looking for a pizza place we saw on the Food Channel. We are so glad we did! We ordered the Valtellina pizza and it was the best pizza we had in Italy. The crust was amazingly thin and crusty covered with mozzarella and scamorza cheeses. The protein was this thick salty... More

I ate here once with my wife and it was our worst experience in an italian restaurant. The food was average, but the prices were high. Still, what made it terrible was the behavior of the waiters, who ignored us constantly or turned away when we were calling them.

We visited this place for breakfast after a tip from the owner of the appartment we stayed in nearby. Great choice of pastries, breakfast bakery items and coffees. They made great fresh sandwiches as well. Only negative is that almost nobody talks English which makes it difficult to find out what they are offering and how to order. All locals... More

Expected a place that the locals frequent. Food was fine but it was pricy and the service was dreadful.

Found this place on our walk around Vaticano. It serves absolutely excellent coffee (there was at least 4 types of cappucino!) and gorgeous tiny, very local sweet. This location is just perfect for morning coffee. We also got prosciutto & mozzarella foccaccia for take away, which was dellicious. I highly recommend this place if you want to taste trully local stuff... More

For 4 beer and 2 pizza they charged us more than 70 euro. Including 10 euros for service charge. The food is good but is not value for money.

Service was shocking food bland and tasteless, waited well over 2 hrs for second course and they don't know what a double espresso is yet very happy to charge you double! Tables almost on top off each other this place just wants to... More

Had lunch here after visiting the Sistine Chapel. The exterior was nothing special looking onto a busy road but the interior was interesting and bustling - particularly the patisserie which looked fabulous. Two pizzas and a plate of 3-4 items from the salad bar 1 glass of house red, a small beer and a coke. Came to €43 incl a... More
