Location - great, near Ottaviano metro Service - tad slow, but attentive and helpful, could have been warmer Food - hearty, warm, good portion. May be tad on expensive side The table near us smoked, so it did affect us somewhat. If only the entire place can be smoke free.

We incidentally walked past this place on our way to grab some lunch after a few hours spent in the vatican. The customers are mainly italians coming in for a quick bite and to get their "shot" of espresso before they are on their way. With this said most of them don't know English, so our tourist visit must have... More

Beautiful pastries with a strong local clientele, does it get much better? We were introduced to La Fiorentina while on a food tour but came back to sample more of the terrific sweets and ultimately went home with a big box of tasty treats to eat on our upcoming day trip to Pompeii. LF is in the Prati area so... More

Had Christmas Eve lunch here. Our family of six had lamb, boar and rabbit as a main meal and grilled vegetables as side dishes. The rabbit was the best. We had pasta to begin our dinner and wonderful deserts to end it. The customer service was very good. The restaurant is not cheap, but the food was good. We sat... More

Wonderful gelato but over an hour before the check came. Others (Italians) were given fast service. 2 gelato and 2 coffee for 20 euros.

We knew Rome is not the place for steak, but one evening DH had to have a steak. Definitely a good one, though not mind-boggling. Go for the Tuscan cuts.

The staff is very nice, we ate starters (very good) and pizzas were not exceptional. It's well located and easy to find.

We thoroughly enjoyed a leisurely meal at La Fiorentina this week, concluding our week in Rome. Starting with a rustic pasta made with pesto, potatoes and beans, which we shared, then we ordered entrees: roasted rabbit, and pork shank with carrots. Both were perfectly prepared, delicious, and abundant. Dessert was what stole the show - my friend pronounced the tiramisu... More

Our hotel recommended this and I was at first skeptical with the mixed reviews. However this was a really good meal. Great wine list. Very flavorful food. The tiramisu was awesome. We were a very happy couple. It is expensive, however good places usually are. The location isn't so great, but it was really good food.

My dad and I wandered in off the street as we were staying in the neighborhood. The main courses were incredibly expensive for what you actually get; however the food tasted good. That I can't fault them. The music playing was a mix of pop and electronica-type stuff. It definitely didn't fit with the rest of the restaurant's ambiance. I... More
