For of us had dinner tonight at this place, based on the Trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Three had various pasta dishes. I had eggplant. All were excellent. A full liter of the house wine n at €14 was a bargain. With shared appetizers and shared desserts the whole thing came to €95. The atmosphere was warm and... More

By luck we chose to fill our empty stomacks in this cosy looking restaurant in Trastevere. The staff was not overly motivated, but we felt comfortable anyway. Next to the entrance is a sign saying: life is too short for bad wine. Can't argue with that so we enjoyed 1/2 l of house white wine. No problem communicating in English.... More

The whole interior, setting and athmosphere is just great. The menue sounds creative and yummy but the service and execution in the kitchen needs to improve. A bit of spice and rafinesse might help to make this a very special place.

I’m a sucker for scrubbed and polished vintage wooden tables and chairs and so quickly walked into Ditta Trinchetti in Trastevere as they had a mismatched assortment of both. As I’d had my fill of red and white checkered table cloth kind of places, this was a nice change and a welcome relief. Place was charming and as its website... More

Stopped in here for a little break when exploring the Trastevere area. The coffee was fab and they offer great little pastries. Shame I wasnt hungry enough for lunch as the antipasti looked yum!

This was the biggest disappointment during our stay in Rome. We chose this place because of it's certificate of excellence but I must say I cannot understand why they have received such a thing. The staff seemed very uninterested in us, maybe we showed up too early in the evening or something? We had to invite ourselves into the place... More

Rome is a difficult place to find good food because most of the places are dreadful tourist traps with poor quality food. Trastevere is definitely one of best places to find decent food. Ditta Trinchetti has a laid back feel and very good service. No thrills good Italian food and some decent wines as well. If you don't have time... More

After reading good reviews, we gave the place a shot. Very small place and the decor is really cool as you sit at old wooden tables. Service was a tad slow and our fault for not havn sharper Italian language skill sets but english by the staff was also challenged bit. We had 4 cheese polenta starter and unfortunately it... More

We found this wonderful little restaurant on our first night in Trastevere, a short distance from our hotel. From the outside it looks like a cool, informal deli, and it does indeed sell a wonderful selection of take out items from the front counter and case. The interior of old wood tables and informal table settings recalls restaurants you might... More

Balls of wool, teacups and knifes and forks hang from the ceiling - nice restaurant with tasty food - not the best we had in Trastevere but a very cool little place with good music and nice staff!
