Very different in a great way

Resist the temptation and sit inside: the chefs are great to see at work, the hams and cheeses are on display, the tables are antiques and interesting. Good food, very good wines. We would come back for sure if ever in this great neighborhood .

Friendly staff and informal service. The food was very nice, though the house white wasn't the best. Meatball lasagne was excellent.

Small, lively restaurant in a popular area. The food was simple, yet delicious. Wine selection was small but server was knowledgable and helpful.

Today I had my lunch at this tastefull decorated little restaurant. It was a busy afternoon, Easter, but I was welcomed friendly although I was allone. The food was great! The grilled pecorino delicious, the meatballs as well, and also the Tiramisu was very good. Place to remember!

A lovely little restaurant that serves great food at great prices. My husband and I enjoyed a cheese and ham board, 2 great lasagnes, a dessert and bottle of prosecco for 60 euros. The decor is nice and the owners are lovely and happy to share a joke with you.

Tiramisu is perfect, such as the espresso and latte machiatto. The staff is friendly enough, service is quickly.

Had lasagna and peppe n caccio with zuccini and their flowers, were both excellent, house wine also very pleasant Super warm decoration, enjoyed much also a genuine kindness from the ladies running the place On the disadvantages, it is small and extremely popular, so don't bother going without reservation

We were on our first trip to Rome, discovering Italian food. The food at Ditta was special, out of the ordinary and really delicious. We should have kept closer watch on how much were spending on those fine glasses of wine....but that was our enthusiasm! Trastevere is not short of good restaurants, but Ditta is one we would definitely recommend.

Nice food.the wine of the house wasn't that good.cesair salad tasty.the design overcomes the clients comfort as the space between tables is minimum and the desks used for tables don t leave enough space for the feet.in any case it is a very pleasant place with good food.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
