After a morning in the chaos of the sites found air conditioning and free wifi with good food. We had a basic meal of pizza and a beer for 6 overlooking the colesseum. Also important 4 happy teenagers managing to catch up on social network.

After visiting the colosseum we stopped at this cafe for an expresso & smoothie. There isn't much outdoor seating, but if you do snatch an outside table, it has the best view of the colosseum. My daughters loved taking pictures w/the beautiful background.

Much needed respite from the midday sun and the sheer chaos of the Colesseum. We were lucky to find an outside table, as it was very busy and was on a hill, overlooking the Colesseum and the Forum. The food was good, pizzas and salads (fresh and crisp), and the beer welcomingly cold. The interior was clean, bright and modern.... More

I have shared a similar experience to the girl who wrote the last review. I spent a whole day seeing the sites of Rome and as I'm staying next door to this caffe, I decided to finish off my day with a nice chilled glass of wine outside. One waiter came out and spent a long time serving a family... More

My friend and I came here last night for a cocktail around 7.30. Initially, it seemed like a great place to have a drink - the view of the Colosseum was great. There was a young waiter who seemed to be rushed off his feet but we weren't in a hurry so sat down and had a look at the... More

A good place to stop for lunch with both good food and a good view of the nearby Colosseum.. Try the grilled chicken and pizzas..

Went there for aperitivo - it's $10 Euro including a lovely drink and all-you-can-eat appetizers, which were pretty decent. We got a table outside of the cafe facing the Colosseum. The view was just spectacular! Totally worth it!

We had a wonderful lunch at Oppio Caffe overlooking the Colosseum. The food was great and Nickola, our waiter was excellent.

It's right in front of the Colosseum, on a higher street, which gives you a great view while you're having lunch. The service was good and fast and the food pretty good also.
