Good food with a view

Great location across the Coliseum, you can seat outside with the view or inside with air conditioner. A variety of options from antipasti, salad, pasta to burgers. Average quality and fair service. Overall a good experience. Internet is available.

On a girl trip we were exhausted and tired after visiting the Colosseum. We had stopped into one place and it was busy with pushing people and a terribly disgusting washroom. I never stay to dine in a place with a bad washroom. We moved further up the hill and voila...I checked out the washroom and we decided to stay.... More

We happened upon this place walking to the Colosseum and went back for their dinner buffet/drink special. When you buy a drink (12 euro) you get the buffet as well. The food is good and changes often with loads of different types of foods. There were lots of vegetarian options and a few meat dishes as well. The cocktail is... More

Good place for a drink/cocktail with a buffet after 5 pm, order one drink and eat as much as you can for 10-12 euro, you can have cold pasta, cous cous with vegetables, some grilled auberigines and zucchini, some pizzette, tramezzini, small sandwiches, all italian style

I guess the only good thing I could say about this restaurant was the view was incredible it was right by the coliseum and the wine was delicious, glass of chianti. The pizza was okay but since I'm gluten-free I ordered a salad which was nothing impressive and a tenderloin dinner. The tenderloin was nothing like I was expecting it... More

This cafe lived up to the Trip Advisor review. We had arrived at the Colosseum and wanted a good coffee while we waited for the tour to begin. Oppio Caffe cappacino was great. The service was very friendly although he was busy. The view is worth walking up the hill.

Only about 30m from the Coliseum so no surprise really, service was a little slow, the prices reflected the location and I have no problem with that, if you want to pay less walk a little further. The food was reasonable, the major downside was the toilets, with only two cubicles for both men and women to use and they... More

this will probably stuff it for next time because it will be mobbed but.... This wee bar probably has the best possible view of the Colosseum while you sit with a small liqueur or something. They didn't have my Benedictine this time but I'll forgive them
