We were on our honeymoon and decided to try a different restaurant. The service was a bit slow last night but could be due to a few party's being held there. The food tasted great and the wine was very nice. We were given a bottle of limoncello when we had finished our meal which was a nice leaving... read more

this will probably stuff it for next time because it will be mobbed but.... This wee bar probably has the best possible view of the Colosseum while you sit with a small liqueur or something. They didn't have my Benedictine this time but I'll forgive them

Good place to visit for food and drinks when visiting the Colloseum. In good weather an outside table gives wonderful views of the area

We had lunch here twice because I was craving the pasta my husband had the day before. The Fettuccine Papalina was divine, we also had a hamburger that was okay. The service was great at a reasonable cost.

One of the best places for happy hour. Super aperativo and cocktails. Great view and helpful staff. Forget the menu, take your sprits and enjoy the open buffet.

One sunny afternoon in Rome we sat out the front almost in touching distance of the coliseum. And stopping for a quick lunch turned into us spending 6 hours here and watching the sun go down. The food was good, and well priced considering we were literally a few feet from the coliseum and the beers were also good, although... More

We have been there yesterday, the restaurant is absolutley overpriced, Cappuccino for 5€, also the pizza (10€) we had was One the worst in Rome. The toillets were so dirty and distgusting. But the view to the Colloseo is fantastic. In total a difficult tradeoff.

Nice little cafe/restaurant facing the Colosseum just uphill from the Coliseo Metro stop. Food and service was very good. The best thing is that it is far enough away from the little square where tour groups meet above the Metro that you are not bothered by the legions of street peddlers selling 'selfie sticks' and cheap phone chargers. So you... More

Ate here 1930 Sunday March 1. Biggest waste of time in Rome. Waited 10 mins for drinks, then 40 mins for some un edible pasta. Tasted like dish soap mixed with noodles and butter. I really don't know how you can mess up bacon, but they do!! Everywhere is better than here.
