food was pretty good and quite reasonable in price, staff were helpful and friendly. Great view of the Colosseum :) I would avoid the toilets as they were pretty horrific...

Overlooking the Roman Colosseum, Oppio Caffe has a view that is hard to beat (if you can secure one of the tables on that side). The food, however, is not all that spectacular. We had a pizza that was adequate (though the black olives were tasteless). The service was also kind of standoffish, and it took an awfully long time... More

Oppio Caffe is directly across from the Colosseum and offers a seriously amazing view. It was honestly kind of surreal to just be sitting there, drinking prosecco with the Colosseum RIGHT there. The service was always very good, and the prices were not exorbitant considering the view is priceless. We came here often and always had a great time. I... More

Okay cafe, food did not wow me or my friend but was decent enough to eat. The priced were quite good considering it is right opposite the Colosseum. Our waiter NIcola was very pleasant and made us laugh. All I can say is the food is okay the view is beautiful.

My family and I stopped here after touring the Colosseum to warm up from the December cold. While the menu was not impressive, the food itself was good and the coffee was excellent. Be prepared to spend a bit, but then you're right across the street from the Colosseum. Our service was excellent, and our waiter even gave us a... More

Located up a slight hill to the north of the Colosseum, this is a perfect place to rest after a long day of touring. The food is simple and the Caffe is frequented by locals as well as tourists. Tight seating in the outdoor tables. Looks out to the Colosseum and across the street to a not very well maintained... More

We recently visited Rome and were looking for a place for lunch after our tour of the Colosseum. Very convenient to get to, just walk up the metro stairs and to the next block. Sitting outside has a nice view ( currently lots of scaffolding) but there is a lot of traffic and fumes because of this. Food was decent... More

Having been in Italy for 3 days I had the pleasure of eating a few places serving fantastic pizza, pasta, salads etc. Unfortunately Oppio could not even match the taste of a frozen pizza from Asda. My pizza was very thin, enemic and tasted like it had been in a microwave and the cosmopolitan left alot to be desired. The... More

We came back to this place only for the view. It has the best view of the Colliseum but the service is bad and the food terrible. Just order a coffee and enjoy the view at sunset.
