Friendly staff, good service. Nice tapas plate with some great tasting dishes, followed by excellent paella.

We came here because we were looking for a break from Italian food after four weeks in Italy. The menu looked inviting and the owner was very helpful in selections and advice. The service in general was excellent. Overall the food was very good and I really have no complaint about it. It just wasn't as good as I had... More

At our stay in Rome we visited this restaurant twice and was very satisfied both times with the food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. At our second visit we ordered Tapas all you can eat and this was absolutely good as well and the price was pretty good. We would very much recommend others to give this place... More

Went there as a family. The food was very good, fish was perfectly cooked, bread was excellent. We had very good service and they even have us free pitchers of water, a rarity at the Italian restaurants where they charge for every bottle of water. The meal was very reasonable and delicious. The kids loved it too.

Piazza Navona could be extremely touristy however we found the outer fringe of the Piazza very interesting, with food places that seemed to cater more to the locals. We found Tapa Loca after we had dinner and decided to go back the next day. It was well worth the visit. Not been to Spain for 20 years, however, compared with... More

So this is a Spanish-cousine restaurant in the very heart of Rome, a few steps from piazza Navona, so the area is simply stunning. Honestly you can avoid having a meal at Tapa Loca, it's not that great. Avoid fish-based dishes as fish is not fresh (the menu reports in fact that fish is frozen, so technically I should not... Went here with some friends after getting tired of Italian food. paella was disappointing, kind of dry and the fish one was too fishy, the meat paella is much better. The tapas (papas bravas, spanish eggs, croquettas) and sangria were delicious, I would recommend coming here only for the tapas, as the spanish entrees were a bit disappointing. And the... More

I saw this restaurant several times while staying in Rome. However, what sold me was that it was packed with locals on both Saturday and Sunday nights. The locals weren't wrong, a great alternative to Italian food while in Rome. I had the Ropa Vieja, a salad, and Crema Catalana - all which exceeded my expectations in terms of authenticity... More
