Best Seafood

We visited at our Hotels recommendation and followed Stefano's suggestions- antipasti were small plates of squid, octopus, tuna, shrimp carpaccio all of which were fresh and fabulous. Entrees were equally good and in all this was one of the best restaurants we have visited.

The food was really tasty but we were disappointed when we saw the bill- 300 eur for 4 appetizers, artichokes, 2 main courses and wine (30eur/bottle). Everything tasted wonderful, the waiters were attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our food. But we made a mistake at the very beginning- we didn't explicitly clarify the number and cost... Very friendly and hospitable atmosphere, very polite and helpful service. Starters and desert were excellent but the main course, was not as exceptional as expected. We had sole fish and crab pasta for main, they were tastefull but not the taste we were expecting based on other's comments and the restaurant' s price. Overall very good restaurant but overprised.

Food was amazing, seafood experience to say the least. Great service and attention to detail, favourite was the octopus salad. Not the cheapest meal but well worth the money in relation to the experience.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, Parco dei Principi. We were greeted by the owner when we arrived and he asked that we allow him to select some items that he thought we would enjoy. I've never been a fan of raw seafood and of course, everything he brought out was either raw or "lightly" steamed. No worries, I'm... More

What a wonderful experience this evening was. The food was fabulous, the service excellent and the ambiance very nice...and it was only a short ride from our hotel (Eden). The suggestions of the owner were excellent. We started with an excellent sparkling wine (regrettably I did not get wine names but all were suggested by owner). I had a very... More

Someone recommended this restaurant to us last night... Firstly as soon as you walk in, I noticed a cold locale without customers (at 21.30). The wine list was small, but was reasonably priced. The owner took it upon himself to decide on our dinner... Cutting a long story short, our dinner consisted mainly of BREAD. Although we were brought 4... More

Ate here for my daughters birthday, food was amazing. Fish carpaccio was out of this world! Couldn't fault any of the food. Pistachio cake for dessert was one of the best cakes I have ever tried. Service was impeccable. Be prepared to pay though

Being a New Yorker, we are used to great Italian food so most of the restaurants we dined in Rome did not "wow" us. They were all very good, but nothing spectacular. However, Chinappi, was an incredible find. It was located within 10 minutes of walk from our hotel (Grand Palace Boscolo on Via Veneto) so we decided to eat... More
