Great local pizza

Inexpensive and delicious. Fantastic pizza (thin crispy crust), great salads, nice staff, nice large outdoor covered seating. Mostly populated by locals.

I went last night with my son. The food was very nice and good value for money. The pizzas looked great so my son has insisted we go back tonight to taste them!

I chose this restaurant based on proximity to the Waldorf-Astoria and on reviews. We were not disappointed. Arrived with reservations at 8:30 pm. ..and we were the first there. Within 15 minutes droves of local people arrived and the place was full. This is obviously where the neighborhood people go. We started out with a pasta of the day. DELICIOUS!!... More

This was one of those nightmare meals that we will laugh about in years to come but was awful at the time. The food to be fair wasn't bad but 2 of our party did not get their food until everyone had eaten and we had to ask several times. When, it finally arrived, one of the meals was wrong... More

We were staying at the Waldorf Astoria nearby and needed a good value place for dinner within walking distance. This place was perfect with tasy dishes that suited the whole family

Our first night in Rome, we decided to dine out at this great little Italian pizzeria very close to the Waldorf Astoria. We were the only Americans in the restaurant, and it was a delight. Helps if you know how to speak just a little Italian! Our dinner was fabulous and very well priced. The service was excellent, and they... More

There was something for everyone. My wife had a fried pumpkin flower as an appetizer, my kids had skewers and a burger, and I had the mozzarella and prosciutto. They have a good selection of beers and wine, the staff is friendly, and the prices were reasonable. would definitely return.

We are staying at the Waldorf and needed a break from $50 cheeseburgers. (More on the Waldorf in a separate review.) The concierge sniffed and said it was just a pizzeria, but it really hit the spot. Very clean, almost all Italians, nice interior. For some reason in the US, we rarely see really thin crust pizza. I had porcini... More

this place has nothing fancy but it is your typica trattoria in the neighborhood where you see families, youngsters and some tourists (but very few). quality is good, service is good and prices are cheap. exactly what you are looking for if you are not into "fancy and trendy" places. I am going there everytime i am in Rome.
