Decent prices and good quality

this place has nothing fancy but it is your typica trattoria in the neighborhood where you see families, youngsters and some tourists (but very few). quality is good, service is good and prices are cheap. exactly what you are looking for if you are not into "fancy and trendy" places. The service was great. The food was good. It was a nice find for sure! Recommend by a local. Would definitely go again. Very welcoming.

We are staying at the Waldorf and needed a break from $50 cheeseburgers. (More on the Waldorf in a separate review.) The concierge sniffed and said it was just a pizzeria, but it really hit the spot. Very clean, almost all Italians, nice interior. For some reason in the US, we rarely see really thin crust pizza. I had porcini... More

Our waitress could not have been kinder or more friendly. She was sweet to our kids and helped us order and improve our Italian. The food was very good. This is not fine dining but it is a welcoming, family environment. We went 2 or 3 times during a 3-week stay in Rome, as it was the best within walking... More

When I have city breaks away I much prefer to eat away from the tourist traps. This is just the place for that! Good portions, excellent pasta and pizza. Good beer. What more can a foodie want when in Roma for the weekend. Yes service is a bit slow (reference to some reviews below), but come on, the place was... More

Tried a couple of time for dinner with friends. It does not suite my tastes neither for food quality nor for service and location. Outside tables are a better but nevertheless, prices are above what i would pay for an average place.

Stayed at villa tasoni and went to this restaurant a few times. Likes the pizza, grilled meats, and grilled vegetables. Enjoyed seeing local families out for meals and the service was friendly.

We stayed at the Rome Cavalieri Hilton/Waldorf Astoria. This ristorante was a nice 15 minute walk through the neighborhood (down the hill...but we failed to remember that there was a back up the hill). We enjoyed the atmosphere and food so much that we ate there 4 times in the week we were there. The cacio e pepe, pasta carbonara... More

we arrived at the restaurant at 8 oclock and my family was greeted by a really over enthusiastic waitress - great... the restaurant was empty except for my family & one other family which leads me to question WHY we had to wait 30 - 45 minutes for our food we ordered a pizza, 2 burgers & a pasta dish... This is a good quality Italian restaurant which we visited twice while staying at the Waldorf Astoria (cheap deal, couldn't afford to eat there!). Good honest Italian food and reasonably priced wine in a friendly atmosphere. Almost all the diners seemed to be local, always a good sign. Recommended.
